A/N: Inspired by the episode 67 omake…I mean, someone had to have spotted Hitsugaya heading back to his office with that massive armful of candy. And he had to do something with it when he got there.

"Hitsugaya-taichou, I finished the paperwork!" Matsumoto's voice rang out as soon as her captain entered his office. She had finished the paperwork for once, and she was rather proud of herself.
Just as well she had, since her captain looked rather testy. Well, testier than usual.
Then she noticed he had an armful of snack food and candy.
"Oh, taichou, you didn't have to bring me food! Like I said, I've already finished the paperwork!"
He scowled at her. "Matsumoto! This isn't for you! This was a present from Ukitake-taichou…" He trailed off, irritated frown changing to a more puzzled expression. "Though what I'm going to do with it I don't know."
She tilted her head to one side. The candy could explain Hitsugaya-taichou's seemingly bad mood. He was not fond of "kiddie food". And the sight of her solemn taichou with a heavy load of brightly wrapped candy in his arms may have attracted some stares.
"Ohhhhhh…" was her response.
"I can't just throw it out, and I don't like this sort of stuff…you can have it if you want, Matsumoto."
Matsumoto grinned. "Well, taichou, there'll be more paperwork tomorrow. I can eat it then!"
Histugaya made a soft noise of disbelief. "It'll be the first time you've ever been eager to do paperwork."
"There's a first time for everything, taichou!" Matsumoto said brightly, as she waltzed out of the office.
