That Final Goodbye

It was a cold dark night and Naruto couldn't sleep. He had decided to go for a walk. While walking down a street on the opposite side of town, he saw a girl sitting on a bench in the park. He first heard her crying, but when he went over to see if she was ok she ran off into oblivian.

He searched for days but there was no sign of her. In fact nobody who was there even noticed that there was a crying girl. Everyone thought he was insane. He went to the same spot the same night the following week, but there was no girl. He had decided that he was just imagining it. So for the next couple of days he went through his day perfectly fine until again he couldn't sleep. So he decided that he was going to take another walk. He finally remembered about the girl when he was a block away from the park. He decided that he wanted to see if the crying girl was there and, to his astonishment, she was. She was in the same exact spot as she had been in the night a few weeks ago. He ran to see her face but she saw him and ran. He guessed that she had known he would be back.

He was feeling troubled so he went to Tsunade and she had said that it was probably a spirit who hadn't passed and had wanted to tell him something that they thought he should hear. So he had tried to remember who was the last person he knew that died, that hadn't finished their comment or conversation. It had dawned on him that he had watched a very close friend bleed to death in his hands, Hinata.

He hadn't known of anyone else who died that was close to him, so he assumed it was her. So for three nights he waited on the same bench that he saw her on and waited from dusk to dawn and was about to give up, but he thought if he waited one more night she would show up and sure enough she showed up on the fourth night. He had finally caught the mystery girl. It was Hinata.

He asked her if she had anything important to tell him and she said,"Well i wanted to say that i always have and always will love you and that this will be our final goodbye." He had looked at her in amazement but said,"I love you too Hinata and i will never forget this night. Goodbye." It was then and only then that she disappeared and was never seen of again eccept for one night a year and it was in the one night a year marking the day she actually passed over to the other side, and Naruto knew that she would always be their even though he couldn't see her.
