Lincoln x Ronnie Anne is my fave ship of the show but especially due to how rare it is I wanted to give Lincoln x Tabby a try. Here Heavy Meddle didn't happen.
At the local arcade of Royal Woods, Lincoln Loud was busy in the two player dance machine against a girl his age in a mainly purple rocker outfit. "How much luck did I get for tonight?" Lincoln asked while on the machine.
"Originally I wanted to skip out on the Sadie Hawkins Dance to go to the arcade for this deal they had this deal for today, unfortunately once they heard no girl had asked me out four of my sisters set me up with their friends without eachother knowing. So now today I had to juggle four dates, I managed to set three of them up with my own friends, the last one Luna's friend Tabby when I admitted to her I wanted to spend today at the arcade decided we could come together..."
"Wow, Luna was serious when she said you like to narrate to nothing." Tabby muttered in a dumbstruck tone, Lincoln silently apologised as he put his mind back to the game.
"I must say Lincoln, Luna was telling me what an amazing guy you are... not the male Luna I was expecting but you are cool." Tabby told him and Lincoln could not help but wonder whether to take it as a compliment or not.
"Yeah not as much into rock and roll as Luna is but then that's why Luna is so exciting." Lincoln told her and Tabby gave him a silent nod. Once the song Were Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister was done Tabby was surprised and jealous when she saw that Lincoln had a bigger score than her.
She was a rock n roll girl so she should have been ace at this!
"Would you mind if I choose the song?" Lincoln asked and Tabby just gave him a nod determined to beat him this time around. She looked surprised when he chose the song Time of my Life from Dirty Dancing.
Tabby gave him a smile and told him "not enough rock for my tastes but appropriate..."
Around that time Luna, Lucy, Lynn and Luan Loud went through the door. Lucy, Lynn and Luan had heard from their friends that Lincoln had set them up with his friends and they saw him going to the arcade with Tabby.
Luna had become excited that it was the date she had set up for her brother that he seemed to want to end his time at the Dance with (or at least would want to go the arcade with). They decided to check this out for themselves.
They spotted Lincoln and Tabby singing along with the song as they were dancing on the machine. "This is so amazing; I wish I had a camera right now to capture this moment!" Luna shrieked excitedly fantasising of a rock themed wedding between the two.
The other three sisters were wishing a little it was the date they had set up for Lincoln but at least he was happy and had a good time.
"So glad Lincoln had a good time but he might need to get a shower from the dirty dancing he is doing!" Luan joked and the others were in such a good mood at watching this they didn't even bother groaning at Luan's joke.
"Indeed he seemed to have a splendid time!" Lisa said the other sisters shrieking when they didn't notice Lisa standing next to them. Lucy was even thinking that this must be what it feels like to have it happen to her.
"What, I got a job fixing the machines here and I decided to take a look when I saw Lincoln and his date here." Lisa told them and they just shrugged and continued watching.
Due to how hard it is writing dialogue for Lida, I didn't try that hard. I know authors like That Engineer are capable of pulling it off but not me.
