I sighed. I looked towards the setting sun. the roof. A wonderful place for a girl like me to dwell in my thoughts. I smiled. Red, orange, yellow, gold, pink, blue, purple. All of these colours mixed together to make an incredibly beautiful scene.

I heard a door slam shut behind me. I moaned to myself. 3, I counted silently.2,1 "Hey star" And Bingo was his name-o. I giggled to myself. "Hello Robin" I answered back. He walked towards me and stood at my side, staring out to the sunset.

A few silent moments passed. "Breathtaking isn't it?" I asked. He nodded. "yes. And so is the sunset" He replied. I was confused with his reply. "Yes?" I asked curiously.

His head whipped around to face me. He stared at me blankly. "Yes, what?" I stared back. "You said, yes. And so is the sunset" I explained. I saw a look of panic cross his face.

"Oh that. I meant to say was, and yes, the sunset is" He stammered. I nodded slowly. My heart sank. I had been hoping for something other then that. I glumly stared at the floor. Robin continued to stare at me.

My long hair, gracefully floating in the wind. My wide, emerald eyes, always sparkling. My curves, all in the right places. Robin gave a silent groan.

I looked up at him. "I cant do this anymore" I heard him murmur. I placed a hand on his shoulder. "Do what?" I asked. Robin stared into my eyes. "This" He whispered. "All these feelings I have about…" He trailed off, looking uncertain.

I egged him on. "About…." He looked at the ground, then back at me, his mask wide with fear. His eyes locked with mine again. But this time, it was more…calming. "All these feelings about you" He whispered.

I stared at him. "Is this a good thing or a bad thing?" I muttered. "A good thing" Was the quick reply. I nodded. I was stunned. He felt the same way about me as I did about him. My hand slipped from his shoulder as I turned around.

I bit my lip. Tears formed behind my eyes. "I feel the same way" I gasped. I turned back around, a watery smile plastered to both of our faces. Robin grinned, grabbed me and pulled me close to him.

He tenderly pressed his lips against mine. I shivered at his touch but then melted into it. I smiled, savouring the taste of his lips, his hair between my fingers.

I felt him smile back as he tangled his hands in my hair and his other hand, rubbing the bare skin on my back. My heart fluttered.

Finally. After all this time, he was mine. No-one but me could have him. In unison, we both opened our mouths, one another's tongues exploring our mouth. After a while we broke apart and pressed our foreheads together, panting heavily.

"Starfire, I love you" Murmured Robin. I froze. Did he just say the L word? Love? Did he mean it? I smiled. "I love you to Robin" I whispered back.

He grinned, spun me to the other side and bent me into a dip as we continued our kissing. Butterflies appeared out of nowhere. They flew towards us, a whole swarm of about 70 of them.

They danced and twirled around us, enclosing us in a circle. Me and Robin broke apart and laughed.

The butterflies flew off and we resumed our kissing. The sun set. It sure was summer lovin' indeed.
