Ok… Well, I have lost inspiration for my WOWP story. It might take a while to get it back. In the meantime I'm writing a new story that may be a oneshot. Depends on the reviews I get. Oh and this is set when the kids are 19. Well, onward to the disclaimer!
Disclaimer: I certainly don't own Austin and Ally. Haha, I wish!
"Ally!" Austin walked into Sonic Boom confused. He stopped when he heard what sounded like muffled crying. Running up the stairs, he opened the door to his favorite hangout, the practice room. Ally Dawson, the girl he secretly loved, sat on her piano bench, tears streaming down her face.
"What's wrong Al?"
"Everything… My mom… My dad… my whole stupid life is just one big joke."
"What are you talking about?" Austin asked as he rubbed her back.
"I… I'm adopted," she choked out. "And my real parents want me to come live with them in Nebraska. I can't go. I just can't. But the worst part…" she paused.
"You can tell me, Ally."
"My dad… My adopted dad wants me to go! He says that money is tight and it would help him if went and stayed with them for a little while. H-he said it will be good for me to get to know them. But I don't want to! They left me! They didn't want me then so why now?!" Ally started sobbing harder.
"Well, maybe they didn't have money to take care of you then but they feel like they should take responsibility now." Austin tried to reason with his best friend. He hated to see her so distressed and upset.
"No! They were a young, rich, happy couple until I came along. They didn't want to put up with any distractions because they wanted more money!" Ally yelled as she slammed her hand on the bench.
"Ally. Look at me." Ally tried to fight him but Austin grabbed her hand and whispered. "I love you Ally Dawson. More than you know. Not just as a friend. I want to be with you forever. You don't have to go to Nebraska because you can stay with me." Ally started to interrupt but Austin started speaking again. "Don't you dare tell me that your dad won't approve because I'm pretty sure Trish will let you stay with her at her apartment until you get on your feet. You aren't a little girl and you can make decisions of your own." Somewhere in his speech, Ally had stopped crying. Instead of being slapped like he expected, Austin suddenly felt a pair of lips against his own.
"Austin, that was the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me. I love you too." Ally embraced her friend and the two of them sat holding each other for a very long time. When they finally broke apart Austin knelt down on one knee.
"Ally Dawson, will you marry me?"
"A million times yes!" Ally whispered, hoarsely.
