Stargate SG-1: Chapter One: Catherine's first trip through the Gate.
It has been 15 years since Samantha Carter and Daniel Jackson have been married and have two kids. Their two kids names are Catherine and Amber. Catherine is 10 years old, while Amber is 5 years old. Sam and Daniel moved their family to atlantis a year after Catherine was born. Sam had been in charge there for about a year then went back to the SGC to help find away to defeat the Replicators and Wraith. Later that year, Sam and Daniel got married and Catherine was born. She and Daniel decided to raise their kids on Atlantis. With the Replicators now defeated and the Wraith on the run, peace now rained in the Pegasus Galaxy.
When Catherine was born, Sam decided it was time to retired from the military and start a family with Daniel. John Sheppard was put in charge of Atlantis when Sam retired. Catherine who's now 15 years old and also has the Ancient Gene has begun learning about Atlantis. Daniel and John have begun teaching her stuff about Atlantis. Sam had asked John to be Godfather to Catherine and he appreciated the role of being her Godfather. John Sheppard was promoted to General, from General Jack O'neill via vid link. John was happy about his promotion, but thought to himself that now he won't be able to go on any more missions.
John was pacing the room, when he recieved a knock at the door. Daniel was at the door and saw that John was agitated. Daniel stood at the door and John tells him to come inside. Daniel walks in and looked at John.
Daniel said, "John what's wrong?"
John said, "I think I should have declined my promotion."
Daniel was surprised at John's statement and said, "Why? you deserve it."
John said, "Because I won't be able to go on missions to explore other worlds."
Daniel said, "You could always change that rule and go on missions."
John nodded and said, "Your right, Daniel I will change that rule."
John leaves the room and heads towards his quarters to rest for the night. Daniel then leaves the office and heads back to his quarters. Once at his quarters he knocks at the door, Sam comes to the door and opens it and see Daniel standing at the Door. He then kisses her on the lips and walks into the room.
She followed him and said, "How was your day, Daniel?"
Daniel said, "It was great.Can't wait to start the new project soon."
Sam smiled said, "So I guess the SGC has given the go a head on the project."
Daniel smiled and nodded saying, "Yea, Jack told me the news earlier today."
Sam said, "How's Jack doing?"
Daniel said, "Jack's doing good, he loves his new job at the Pentagon. He's missed all of us. He's planning on visiting Atlantis with Teal'c, Mitchell and Vala next week."
Sam said, "That's great."
Then suddendly, Atlantis rocks from an explosions. Daniel picks up a Comlink and calls Stargate Operations.
Daniel said, "John what's going on up there?"
John said, "We are under attack by some unknown alien."
Catherine walks into the room where her mom and dad were standing and said, "Mommy what's going on?"
Then suddenly there was a beam of light that surrounded their daughter and she was gone. Sam and Daniel were in shocked.
Sam in shock said, "Catherine no".
Sam falls to her knees and is in tears. Daniel sees that she is crying and goes to hug her and said, "John my daughter was just beamed out of Atlantis."
John surprised said,"What? They just lefted orbit and are gone. I'm sorry that this happened, but you have my word, we will get her back."
Daniel continues to hug Sam and said, "Sam I promise we will get her back, you have my word."
