Groose sighs glad to be back in his hometown…well actually he'd rather be on the nice smelling surface with Grannie…but being down there alone just sounds dreadful.

By the time that he finally reaches the academy its pitch black outside with the coming of night.

He makes his way up the final staircase before attempting to open the academy's door but then he remembers that they keep it locked during the night. He then makes his way up to the top entrance, which is luckily unlocked.

He slowly walks down the hall feeling glad that Pipit isn't patrolling the halls tonight. He walks down the stairs and finally sees the familiar shape of his doorway. He grasps the doorknob before twisting it open.

"Ahh…My love…I will always be by your side…Tee hee…"

"Cawlin?" he mutters upon seeing the boy asleep in his bead.

"Uhh…" Cawlin mutters through his sleep. He shakes with fear as a transparent blue hand brushes gingerly through his hair.

"What are you doing in my room?" Groose asks the sleeping figure.

"Uhh…"

Groose looks at the ghostly hand feeling slightly scared but mostly disturb by the fact this disembodied hand is professing its love for Cawlin as he sleeps.

"Who are you?" Cawlin asks the ghost.

"I am Cawlin's true love," the ghost whispers with a shaky haunted tone.

Groose blinks in confusion before shaking Cawlin awake.

The ghost vanishes upon Cawlin's entering into consciousness.

"Ahh! It really is Groose's revenge!" Cawlin screams beginning to run out of the room.

"Wait! Why were you in my room?" Groose asks.

Cawlin bites his lip and frowns, "…"

"And why is a ghost haunting you?"

"A ghost?" Cawlin screams in fright.

"I bet this is all LINK'S FAULT!" Cawlin screams stomping his foot on the ground.

"What'd Link do?" Groose asks.

"He gave my love letter to someone to use as toilet paper instead of delivering it!" Cawlin shouts.

"He did that?" Groose asks wondering how his buddy could be so heartless.

Cawlin nods, "He destroyed true love!" Cawlin begins crying like a hysterical baby before Groose places his hand on the younger boy's back.

"You'll find someone else, besides Link stood in the way of my true love too," Groose says thinking of a certain little goddess.

"And you still haven't found anyone else!" Cawlin cries thinking about how he'll be alone for the rest of his life.

"…That's not true," Groose lies.

"Then who have you found?" Cawlin asks wiping away his tears.

"Um…that senior class girl Karane," Groose lies not knowing who else to say.

Cawlin runs out of the room now crying so hard that he literally leaves puddles behind him.

Groose sits on his bed wondering what he said wrong…

Yay! This turned out so much better then my horribly stupid rough draft! Today I just couldn't stop thinking about this idea so I wrote it! And I have tons of extra time because I'm sick! I hate being sick, gosh I hope it isn't the flu!

Anyway thanks for reading and please review.

Also, I'm thinking about writing a SS series of random one-shots; tell me if you want me to in your review please, thanks!

Disclaimer: I don't own The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword.
