"Ne…"
"Na?"
"Neee…"
Hikaru grunted as his brother nudged him with his foot, wriggling his toes over his side. "Stop it, you monkey," he muttered, nudging the twin right back and wriggling his toes.
Kaoru grunted back, crawling over his brother's leg and collapsing on his twin's back. "Should we wake up today?"
"Nnnng."
"So vocal."
"Too early…"
Kaoru's amber eyes slid to the side in search of a clock. The thin bottom of one of their cell phones stared back from its perch. "What time is it?"
"Early." Hikaru rolled over, flopping one arm over Kaoru's waist and burying his head into the pillow.
The younger Hitachiin twin stretched over his brother as he attempted to reach for the phone.
"Your armpit is in my face," Hikaru muttered, lifting his hand to swat at his brother's arm. The first attempt failed, so he swatted again—this time catching onto the arm and pulling it down onto his side.
"You weren't complaining last night."
"Hmmmm…." Hikaru nuzzled his forehead against the twin's shoulder. "It didn't smell last night."
Kaoru was silent for a moment, trying to decide which to react to. "I don't smell," he finally answered stubbornly.
"Hmmmm…." was all Hikaru could reply with.
