"Ok Edward. Lets try again." I said to Edward as I walked back to my chair behind the monitor.
Perhaps it had been a mistake to cast this pale, black haired young man in my film. I sighed and perched on the edge of my chair. Camera 1 focused in on Edward's face, coated in red and black makeup.
"Cameras rolling, ACTION!" I yelled to Edward, signaling him to begin his dialogue. He held his hands up to the Camera and began to move his lips.
"Prepare to die," said Edward, in a sad whisper that I could barely hear, looking apprehensively over at me as he spoke. I rubbed my forehead as I felt a migraine begin to set in. I leaped off my chair and ran over to Edward, who was looking at me wordlessly asking my opinion of his acting.
"That was…very good," I lied, smiling a strained grin. Edward smiled slightly. "You may want to speak a little bit louder and hold your hands up more. Ok?"
He nodded in understanding and I rushed back to the monitor, running my hands through my hair. "Next time I need to cast based on talent, instead of resemblance to character," I thought as I sat dejectedly behind the monitor once more, subjecting myself to another take.
