The night was dark, no moon in the sky to betray the figure walking down the street to the main gates of Konohagakure no Sato. His tame, blond hair flowing down to the nape of his neck, a couple of spikes coming out here and there and pulled back in a ponytail. His mask was that of a fox, porcelain cat ears on the top and whisker marks where the cheeks would be with red markings swirling around the mask.
This 20 year old man is none other than Uzumaki Naruto, and he was fed up of the now wickidness of Konoha. He had become ANBU Captain, and now that he was allowed at the higher meetings, he saw how corrupt that his once beloved village had become. The council was killing off people who they thought might change Konoha so the village was a democracy, letting the villagers vote on everything, but the Hokage being able to veto it if he has a majority of the council on their side.
Naruto reached the Main Gate and looked around for any guards. Seeing that there were none around him, he walked up to the gates and kicked one of them, effectively swinging it open. Might as well have a grand exit, right?
As soon as it opened, an alarm went out through the village. Standing in front of the gate, he felt the tell-tale sign of chakra fluxating for a shunshin. He turned to face the gate and, right as the figures of the Rokudaime and his personal guard appeared,walked out of the side he opened
"Dobe, What do you think you're doing?" Someone behind him said, taking off his Hokage hat and walking up to him. When Naruto's shoulders started shaking, Sasuke thought that he was crying, just like a dobe would do, but then he threw his head back and let out an laugh.
"I'm leaving this village. It has become too corrupted, having a traitor become Hokage after nearly destroying the village you now rule. It sickens me and I will take no more part in it." Naruto said, turning around to face everybody. All of a sudden, at least thirty ANBU appeared out of nowhere by Naruto.
"Arrest him." Sasuke said, walking back in between his personal guard. The ANBU immediately went into action.
Naruto watched as all of the ANBU jumped at him, their swords out and coming towards him. Naruto sighed and released chakra into his white cloak and fox mask, making tons of senbon needles fly out of everywhere on his cloak and mask and hit all of the ANBU.
When the last pin-cushon of an ANBU fell down Naruto turned around and looked at all the people.. "I'm sorry everybody, but I must take my leave. There is much to do, and I have been wasting too much time. Good-bye, for now."
With that declared, he jumped up. In his descent, after jumping to at least the height of the Hokage tower, a blur of red and blue caught him and they flew up into the sky, not be seen until 8 years later, having disappeared into the black moon.
