Sonic was at Tails' Workshop waiting for Amy to show up for a date.
The only problem was...
"Amy's late!" Sonic started panicking.
He got up from the couch and paced.
"Sonic, calm down" Tails said.
"How can I? Amy's never been this late before. Usually, she arrives 10 minutes later. What do I do?!" Sonic asked.
"Maybe she's getting you a gift or something" Tails suggested.
Before Sonic could respond, the TV suddenly turned on and Eggman's face appeared.
Sonic growled, "EGGMAN!"
Eggman chuckled evilly, "That's right. I've got someone here that I'm sure you'll want to see."
He turned to the side to reveal Amy in a cage, trying to bash the bars with her hammer. But the bars held.
"AMY!" Sonic shouted.
"That's right. I have your girlfriend. If you ever want to see her again, come to my base and
surrender. If you try anything else..." Eggman ended his sentence with an evil chuckle.
Then the image faded and the TV turned off again.
"What are you going to do, bro?" Tails asked.
"Good question. If I don't surrender, she might die. But if I do surrender, Eggnan's probably going to kill her anyways, or do something horrible. That leaves just one option..." Sonic thought.
Out loud, he said, "Bro, I'm going to rescue her. As I always do."
Tails grinned. "I thought you were going to. I've got something that will help."
He handed Sonic a device.
"What will this do?" Sonic asked.
Tails whispered what the device will do into Sonic's ear.
Sonic grinned.
"Cool" he said.
"Good luck, bro" Tails grinned.
"Thanks" Sonic sped out the door.
With Eggman and Amy:
Amy had stopped trying to bash the bars.
"You won't get away with this!" she growled at Eggman.
"Yes I will. When your boyfriend gets here, I'll make him my slave. Then, I'll find a use for you" Eggman chuckled evilly.
"Sonikuu will rescue me" Amy said.
Before Eggman could taunt her, an alarm sounded.
"Intruder alert! Intruder alert!"
Eggman turned on the monitor to see Sonic in the door.
"I hope you came to surrender. For your sake and for you're girlfriend's" Eggman said.
"I won't surrender!" Sonic yelled.
"Well then, you're making a mistake. Egg Pawns, attack!" Eggman hit a button.
Several Egg Pawns appeared on screen and attacked Sonic.
Sonic just took out a device and activated it.
The Egg Pawns deactivated.
"You lose!" Sonic grinned.
A minute later, Sonic burst into the room with Eggman and Amy.
Sonic looked very pissed off.
"Now, now Sonic. You don't want your girlfriend hurt, do you?" Eggman hit a button.
Amy screamed in pain as electricity flowed into her body.
"AMY!" Sonic shouted.
He growled at Eggman and turned into Dark Sonic.
"YOU JUST MADE A BIG MISTAKE!" Dark Sonic growled.
He spin dashed into the bars and destroyed them.
He brought Amy out.
Then he turned to Eggman and spin-dashed at him, knocking him out.
After transforming back to normal, he hugged Amy.
"I'm so glad you're safe" Sonic said.
"Thanks to you" Amy hugged him back.
"And Tails. He's the one who built the device that allowed me to rescue you" Sonic said.
Carrying Amy bridle style, he ran back to Tails' Workshop.
5 minutes later, at Tails' Workshop:
"Thanks for the help, Tails" Sonic said.
"You're welcome, bro" Tails said.
"Now that that's over with, let's go to Twinkle Park Sonikuu" Amy said to Sonic.
"Sure thing, Ames. See you later, bro" Sonic waved goodbye to Tails.
"See you, bro" Tails waved to Sonic.
Sonic ran to Twinkle Park with Amy in his arms.
