After saving Lusamine from the Ultra Beast realm everything sure went back to normal except for the part that Lillie and her mother are now together again. On the night Lusamine was rescued Lillie and Gladion put her in bed and she seemed so terrified to even look at her own children. Lillie and Gladion did everything they could to snap her outta it but going through merging with an Ultra Beast really took a number on her. Gladion said that it was best and tries to get some shut eye but Lillie stayed by her mother side all the way till she gets better. Lillie felt like it was her fault for what happened to her that no matter what she helped her get better one step at a time.
Day 1: Lusamine woke up and saw Lillie sleeping by her and started to get scared, she was behaving like a scared Pokémon. When she woke up Lillie tries to give her a big hug but Lusamine dodges it and Lillie says, "Oh so you're not completely healed yet?" Lusamine was scared of her daughter that she curled up and Lillie says, "There's gotta be a way to get through to you mother!" Lillie was crying so badly that Lusamine crawled over and hugged her own daughter wanting to return to her old self to be with her children. Lillie hugged her mother back and said, "Don't worry mother I will help you get better no matter how long it takes!"
Day 2: Lillie takes her mother outside and the sun was too bright so Lillie gave her mother her sun hat and gave her a pair of sunglasses. They played with the Pokémon all day long but when Lusamine touches a Pokémon she immediately freaks out and hides behind her daughter. Lillie remember how she was scared of Pokémon herself but embraces to conquer her fear in order to be friends with Pokémon. Lillie helps Lusamine one step at a time starting with the babies Lillie says, "It's okay mother it's okay! We'll do it together kay 1,2,3 and go. Lusamine and Lillie touched the Psyduck and petted them and Lusamine wasn't scared of them anymore Lillie then warned her that Psyduck's getting a headache and sends her flying with Confusion and Lillie goes like Uh, back to the drawing board. But at the end of the day Lusamine conquers her fear of Pokémon.
Day 3: Lillie and her mother head to the Aether Paradise where her mother runs the place. Lillie shows her mother around trying to recover her true self but to no ends. She then takes her mother right to her office hoping something would recover her memories. Lusamine started to recover bit by bit but still got a lot of recovery to do. Lillie forces Faba to take her and her mother to the forbidden chambers of the Aether Paradise. Faba had no choice as Lillie was immediately choking him to death. After agreeing to her demands Faba takes Lillie and Lusamine to the files about Type: Null and Silvally and all of a sudden everything started coming back to her. Lusamine immediately runs and hugs her daughter telling her she was sorry for everything and Lillie responded, "It's okay all that matters is that you're back!" Both Lillie and Lusamine returned home and had one hell of a dinner together. Lillie says, "It's so great to have you back it's just too bad Gladion's not here to celebrate with us!" Lusamine says, "It's okay your brother will be back someday besides having at least you home is fine with me!" Lillie blushed and said, "Aw thank you mom!" After that Lillie and Lusamine head right to sleep where Pokémon School awaits Lillie and the Aether Paradise awaits Lusamine.
