Blood, warm and salty, splashes her face, coating the light strands of her long hair. Her dark lip curls in satisfaction as her prey falls to her blades. Dead bodies litter the ground around her, all of them bearing various gashes and a few had bullet holes. She scowls at the carpet; the lush, once creamy violet carpet was now stained an ugly red.
"Fucking Hunters," she growled. "They fucking ruin everything."
Amber eyes roved the scene, taking in the destroyed furniture, broken glass, bullet riddled and blood splattered walls, and of course, the ruined carpet.
This is why I can't have nice things.
How dare they ruin our stuff? We should chop them to pieces, a voice in her head purred.
"No, that would only ruin the carpet further. Besides, I think it's time we hauled ass out of here."
She had no fucking clue how they'd tracked her to her flat. It was a nice flat with nice people. No doubt they were probably calling the human cops which would be bad for her, more opportunity for hunters to try to kill her. How many times over the centuries were they going to kill her and fail? These fuckers never learned.
Can't we just mutilate them a little? They deserve it.
"No, stop whining, asshole."
An unhappy growl resounded in her head.
Where are we going?
"You ever miss your kin?"
Why are we going to see them?
"You know why."
Fuck.
The flight to Buda was hellish. There were three fucking Hunters on the plane, all of them seated strategically, like they thought they were gonna stop her from getting off once they touched down. Once they touched down and were in a semi private place she'd give em a taste of hell.
She chuckled.
Hell hath no fury.
Yeah, because she had Fury.
Once they touched down, she darted from her aisle seat and was off the plane before the Hunters could react. However, once in the airport, she strolled casually, making it seem like she wasn't aware of her surroundings. The Hunters fell for it. They fell for it every time. She led them into a staff room and blood began to splatter the walls. Four people went into it. Only one came out.
Not a speck of blood on me.
She always brought a change of clothes that looked exactly like whatever she was wearing. Just in case something like this happened. She tried her best to be prepared.
