The rain was pouring down outside as I stared at it through my window. I sighed. Dubstep was never this late home. I looked up at the clock; it read 8:00 pm. I returned to my original pose. He really wasn't this late. My mind wondered back to this afternoon.
'Dubstep, why do you need to go?!'
'Because I do.'
'No you don't! Say with me! She can wait, can't she?!'
'I told her I'll be there to support her! She needs me! I promised!'
'Dubstep… I need you. You promised me, you would always be there for me.'
'BUT THIS IS DIFFRERNT! '
'Dubstep…'
'Techno… I'm going now. Seeya.'
Why did he snap at me? He's never snapped at me. I guess she is important to him. I wish he felt like that with me. 'Please come home soon, Dubstep.' I whispered into the air. I felt empty without him; he seemed to make everything better. When ever I was sad, he would cheer me up. When ever I was angry, he would calm me down. I sighed again. Stop worrying. I got up and walked to the living room.
I sat down on the sofa and once again stared at the rain through the curtains. He will be home soon and I'll tell him I'm sorry for being a jerk. It might have been his fault the argument started but I want everything to be perfect for us. My mind wondered even further into dark memories.
'Hey, did you hear Techno? I met this super nice girl the other day! I really like her. I might even ask her out!'
'Oh… really? Good for you! I'm so happy for you Dubstep! Really happy…'
'Hey, don't be all protective of me. I want to make a good impression of myself, ok? So no crazy Techno.'
'Why? I wouldn't do that Dubstep!
'Yeah you would. You get all scary around other girls and me. Just don't be like that around her.'
'I so wouldn't. You're being stupid.'
'Techno. I'm serious. You're taking this as a joke.'
'I'm not!'
'Just… Stop.'
'I'm sorry. I didn't mean it.'
'Yeah, whatever.'
Tears fell down my face as I remembered all of the past. He was changing. She was changing him. I closed my eyes and wished for everything to be perfect again. I jumped as the sound of an unlocking door hit my ear. 'Dubstep?' I called out to the door waiting for a reply. 'Yeah?' Dubstep walked in and closed the door. 'You're late.'
'Yeah, so?'
'You promised we would have dinner together.'
'Oh yeah, sorry. By the way, we had a meal after the performance. I'm not hungry.' He walked into his room and closed the door.
'Dubstep...' I could feel tears fall down my face fast. I was soon bawling on the sofa and shaking.
'Techno, you ok?' Dubstep opened his door and stared at me. His beautiful, blue eyes looking straight into my hazel ones. 'I'm fine. Go back into your room.'
'You don't look ok.' He slowly walked over to me and sat next to me.
'What's wrong? Is it me?' I stared into his eyes and shook my head. I have never lied to Dubstep.
'Who is it?' I took his hand and cried into it. 'It's me.' He looked shock and gave me a hug.
'It's her isn't it?' I nodded into his chest. He sighed. 'I don't like her like that. She said that she wanted a relationship but I refused. Then we just parted.'He took me by the shoulders and smiled. Tears were falling down his cheeks too. 'I love you Techno. I will never love anyone else.' I smiled. We stared at each other for a moment and kissed.
The rain fell as we both fell asleep holding hands.
