The Stars Will Shine Forever
A 'Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon' fic

Disclamer:I'm only beginning to learn Japanese so there's absolutely -NO- possibility for me to
own BSSM. Damn. Though I do own a set of the translated manga. And I have five cents. It's
not worth it to sue.
Queen Serenity paced the length of her bedroom for the hundredth time. She had just come back
from a meeting with Sailor Pluto, who told her that there will be many changes in the future.
She remembered exactly what the warrior had said.
'Relatively soon will be a time of great change in our kingdom. A time where many destinies
split, many futures have the possibilities of coming to be. Now is a time when it is not poss-
ible to divine the future, because a single life or death, a single dicision could alter the
course of time. All we can do is try our best and hope.'
She turned to the tall mirror set up against the wall.
"Nepherenia." The tall, dark-haired queen of the Dead Moon Kingdom appeared. "Nepherenia, you
know what Pluto has said. I believe that we should be ready for whatever lies before us, no
matter what it should be. If not for ourselves, then for our daughters. You know as well as I
do that the future lies with them."
"Yes, this one time I must agree with you, Serenity. For now we are allies, as we were once
friends so many years ago. It is time to put all of that nonsense in the past behind us, and
show ourselves as true rulers for the Solar Kingdoms. Show the other galactic kingdoms that
when we are united, we are much stronger then when separated."
A knock came at the door, and Nepherenia started to disappear. But before she left completely,
she told the Queen, "I release your daughter, Princess Serenity, from the curse I placed on her
a decade ago. May she live a peaceful and joy-filled life."
"And may your daughter, Princess Nepherenia, lead a rich and happy life as well," Queen Serenity
murmured. The other sovereign nodded and vanished. She turned toward the door. "Come in."
The young Princess Serenity came into her mother's chambers. Going over to the Queen, she asked,
"Mother, will the stars shine forever?"
Queen Serenity picked up her younger daughter. "My dear, sweet daughter. My little Serenity.
As long as people fight for what they believe in, as long as friendship and love are around, and
most importantly, as long as there is hope somewhere, then yes, the stars will shine."
"Oh, is it like what you said about there being stars in our hearts?"
"Sort of, my dear." She walked over to the balcony. "Serenity, look up into the sky. Each of
those stars represents a person, somewhere, with hopes and dreams just like you. If that person
loses hope and forgets their dreams, then their star stops shining. Never let your star fade
away Serenity. Never."
Princess Serenity shook her head. "Never, never. I won't ever lose hope mother."
"Good." Queen Serenity took a seat on one of the stone benches on the balcony. "While we're out
here, would you like to hear a story?"
"What would it be about?"
"It's an old legend about the place where stars are born."

Wow, this is the first piece about my little BSSM alternate universe that I've actually posted.
One of the first things that shows it's A/U is that Nepherenia removes her curse from Serenity.
It's gonna get a LOT more A/U in the actual story. Especially with the charas I bring in. Oh,
well. Please review! Iif you're into slightly futuristic fantasy action-adventure, check out
my fic called 'Roads to NOWHERE.' It's written with two other authors, but I posted it. But
careful, it's rated R.
