A/N: Ello Loves, This was a quick little fluffy drabble I wrote to the song Can't Help Falling in Love by the King of Rock, Elvis himself. I highly suggest you listen to it while reading. Beta'd by Captain (look to profile).

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of Star Trek or the music of Elvis. All I own is my imagination. :3

Can't Help Falling in Love

Spock twirled them around slowly as the music flowed through the air.

After their dinner, following their customary game of chess, Spock had surprisingly suggested a dance to which Jim had whole-heartedly agreed.

So here they were, dancing in the dimly lit Captain's quarters to some music Jim had pulled up from his collection.

Emotions welled up, coming from both parties as they basked in the complete comfort offered by their closeness. Jim closed his eyes as he enjoyed the feeling of being held in the strong embrace of his counterpart.

Jim looked up and smiled at the soft expression on the usually impassive face of his Vulcan.

"I…" Jim stopped speaking and moved closer to Spock. He pressed his cheek against his lovers as they swayed and whispered into his ear, "I love you."

Spock pulled back and with only the smallest amount of green on his cheeks, leaned in and brushed his nose against Jim's. "I love you, t'hy'la." Spock reached for Jim's hand, and slowly brought it to their chests.

Their fingers interlocking, soft blushes spread across both of their cheeks.

Spock leaned down and placed a light, sweet kiss on his Captain's lips, allowing his feelings of love to bleed through their bond.

Jim smiled and placed his head on his lover's shoulder. He looked around their shared quarters, seeing the belongings they have collected through years of exploring deep, uncharted space.

He sighed and closed his eyes, allowing the stress of captaincy to leave his mind and body.

Being with Spock after shifts was one of the few things that could relax him; the other was sitting in the observation deck, watching stars and planets passing him by.

Space continued to surprise him everyday.

Yet it was dangerous, especially for Jim with his supposed hero complex.

Just the other day a young security officer died in the planet they had beamed down on. The stress of deciding everyone's fate most effected the Captain when one of his crew members, one of the people under his command, died in the line of duty. He was always left wondering if maybe he had sent down someone else, gone down himself, even, no one would have died...

"Jim, cease these troubled thoughts," Spock whispered softly, speaking the words into Jim's hair.

"I wish we could stay like this forever. It's so peaceful, just the two of us."

His Vulcan gave a slight smile as he turned them again. "I know Jim, I know."
