"Het there", Shard muttered to Larry as he started to slump while walking, half-asleep.
"Oh, good morning", Larry replied with a smile. Larry was more or less of Shard's closest friend when he joined the secret freedom fighters.
"Say…", Larry started, "How's Nicole?"
Shard turned to give him a glare, looked down at a moment and shrugged, "Meh, I don't know"
"Did you contact her after Metal Sonic's self-destruction?", Larry questioned
Shard knew right away what Larry was leading to.
"Nah, I would not want to make her worry, besides she has freedom fighter stuff to worry about, like her friend Sally, not me."
"But she cares", Larry added.
"Does not", Shard snapped.
"Oh, when will you tell her your forbidden desire for her.
"Ugh, Larry really?"
"Yeah"
"Well, tell you what….never."
"But why?"
"Seriously Larry, what makes you think I like her?"
"The fact that both you guys are AI's and that you visit her once in a while, and recently came back all red flush when you came back."
"I'm made out of metal Larry"

"Forget it"
"You keep telling yourself that", Larry said while noticing the door opening up slowly.
Silver came in yawning at the same time, rubbing his sore eyes.
"What's all the yelling about?", Silver asked
Larry grinned and blurted, "Oh, well see Shard here wanted to tell Nicole-"
