Stars shimmered and glowed as the night took over. The horizon was still light blue in contrast to the midnight colors that dominated the sky. Sunset, moonrise.

I lay in shaddered grass, stabbing at my calves and feet. She lays adjacent to me, hair mixed with the grass, eyes closed.

The time passed as the horizon faded. But her face stood still in time. Skin of earth with eyes of the sea. A Mother Nature if there ever was one.

My mind flickered with raging thoughts. Memories of love and joy. Dreams of her and I swirl in my eyes. Myself and My Love.

We live in different times. I in peace and happiness and her in war and hate. She still shines like an angel in her hellish world.

Our lives are changed. The lives of millions are changed. With one day, all was decided. Twenty Four hours. The World was forever changed.

She still lay in the grass, and my mind weighs everything her life has changed. Breathing in and out. Chest rising and relapsing.

I am the savior of this world to many people, all people. I was the last shread of hope to change the world.

But without her, we would all be in the underworld. Without her, the world would be taken over by the flames of firebreathers. She is the true savior.

Her hair still claddered in the grass, My mind turns attention to the beauty radiating off of her skin. Intoxicating.

The true hero.

The true savior

My Love.
