Greg wakes up and reacches out for his wife but finds that she isnt there and her side of the bed was cold, meaning she has been gone for awhile. He gets up and goes down the hallway to check the babys room to find that her and the baby isnt their so he goes down the stairs to the living room to find his wife Jessi feeding their 2 week old baby Nicky.
"Hey Babe" He says snaking his arms around her wasit from behind
looking up at the clock she asks "Hey Greggo, what are you doing up now?"
" I missed you" he smiles looking down at their beautiful baby boy.
Jessi sighs " Look now little man, you just finished another full bottle of milk,you cant still be hungry" she tells Nicky in a little kid voice.
The baby gurgles and looks up at her with big mocha eyes
" Did you see the newspaper clipping that Nick and Syaira cut and put on the fridge?"She whispers
"No I cant say I have, whats it say?"Greg asks, very curious now
"You should check it out while I go put him to bed."
Greg looks at his son and see's that he's fighing sleep " Okay" He releases her and walks into the kitchen and takes the paper off the fridge while Jessi takes Nicky to his room. The paper read:
Proud Parents Jessi Hanson-Sanders and Greg Sanders are pleased to announce the arrival of our son Nicholas Olaf Sanders, born on December 23, 2010, weighing in at 7 Lbs 13 1/2 oz. Proud grandparents Jillian and Bill Stokes, Nana Jean and Grampy Sanders. Great Grandparents Papa and Nana Olaf Hojem, Poppy and Grammy Sanders, Barb and Carlson Stokes. Along with the rest of the family and friends.
Greg smiles at the newspaper cliping and puts it back on the fridge just as Jessi comes back to the kitchen.
" Do you like it?" She says huging him tightly
" No, i love it!" Kissing her hairline lovingly he asks " the little sanders out for the night?"
yawning she answers " hopefull but with my luck who knows."
smileing he picks her up bridal style " lets go to bed"
Too tired to argue she nods her head, snuggling into his chest. Once they got upstairs greg gently laid her under the covers and joined her, but not before checking and making sure the baby monitor was on. wrapping his arms around her from behind " Good night peanut"
"G'night hun" she answers very sleepy. He listins to her breathing while she sleeps, luring him to sleep himself.
