Sorry

Another day, another grueling improv exercise in Sikowitz's class; Tori could barely hide her relief at it being over. What went on in that guy's head anyway? She wasn't sure whether she wanted to praise him for being a great acting teacher or have him committed to an insane asylum. She took a deep breath and headed for the bathroom. Sikowitz's class always made her want to splash water over her face. Good thing she didn't really wear makeup. As she approached the girls' bathroom, she heard a familiar sound from inside. Someone was crying in there. Actually, now that she thought about it, this particular crying sounded familiar. She'd heard it before. But not at school. No, she had definitely heard it at her house. The person in the bathroom crying had to be…
"Jade?" she called out, pushing the door open carefully. What she saw was confirmed when she saw Jade standing in front of the mirror in tears. "Are you all right?" she asked quietly.
"I'm sorry," Jade muttered brokenly.
"Huh?" Tori asked, confused.
"I'm sorry," Jade repeated, "For the stage fighting thing, for the way I'm always insulting you, everything."
"Jade, you know I forgave you for all of that a long time ago," Tori said, smiling at her, "Here, let me see your face."
"Huh?" Jade asked.
"Look at me," Tori instructed and Jade did. Tori nodded. "Your makeup's running," Tori said, "Here, let me take care of that." She took a paper towel from the dispenser and gently began to clean Jade's face.
"Thanks," Jade says, "So you'll really forgive me?"
"Like I said, already did," Tori answered with a smile.
"Do you think the others will?" Jade asked.
"You'll have to ask them," Tori said, "But I'll help you out. Now come here." She smiled again and pulled Jade into a hug.
"Thanks Tori," she said, "And…you know…I owe you."
"No charge," Tori said, grinning.
