Arthur took off his tie and hanged it on the tie rack in the open-door dresser. He looked into the mirror inside the door of his drawer as he unbuttoned his shirt. He sighed. He could vividly see the black under his eyes, but he was pretty sure no one else did- they probably just thought they were just shadows from his eyebrows…
He went on to stripping down to his boxers. They were his favorite pair- it had a lot of fairies and unicorns all over them. His fairy friend gave it to him for his last birthday.
He closed his dresser slowly, trying to make as little noise as possible. He succeeded and proceeded to get to the door to turn off the lights. He then inched towards his bed in the dark. Suddenly, his toe got caught on something on the floor, and he let out a small yelp as the object made a large cluttering noise.
He sucked in his breath, and to his dismay, he heard a moan and shifts of the bed covers.
A sleepy voice called out from the bed, "Arthur san…? Is that you…?"
Arthur sighed, and dropped his shoulders.
"Yes…"
The truth of the matter was, he had dark circles under his eyes because he just hadn't been getting enough sleep since they started living together.
