A/N Hi guys and girls! This is my version of the ending of Promises&Prom-misses. I wasn't even supposed to be working on this but I saw the cute Channy moment so I couldn't help myself! Anyways, REVIEWS would be highly appreciated!
Disclaimer: I do not own SWAC; or The song I Wish You Love.
You hear the other Randoms exit the room. You see her look down in disappointment. Perfect, one moment where you can actually look good and reach out. You slide a smirk on your face and revealed your presence. "Hey," you say nervously. "So you finally made it."
"Chad? What are you doing here? I thought you'd be the first to go." she says in utter amazement.
"Which is exactly why I had to be the last to go." Her smile has surprisingly gained you back that Sauvé of yours. She rolls her eyes and you couldn't help but find it adorable whenever she did that.
She looks back down and said, "Well, you were right, all proms do end in disaster." Looking back up, she tries to imagine the bragging rights he had just gained.
Instead, you walked towards her and asked, "Do they Sonny? Do they really?" You locked your eyes with hers and gave a small smile. "`Cause, I heard that sometimes you get to have that perfect dance with that one special person." You clapped once, the light dimmed. "You're just gonna have to settle for me." Her smile's back and you couldn't have been more proud. You offer her your hand.
As she took your hand, she couldn't help but say, "You truly have the whole studio lot wired don't you?" You smirk, as if giving her your answer.
A few minutes of silence passed. "So, is the music coming any time soon?" she asked bluntly. You shake your head, at her actions and start to walk away. "Well, this was really nice, but I was just wondering about the music." she tried to explain. You go back to her and said, "Which is why I'm bringing you the music." At this, she gave you a confused look, but, you just take your hand and the music played.
I wish you bluebirds in the spring
To give your heart a song to sing
And then a kiss, but more than this
I wish you love
She gives in finally, leaning her head on your shoulder. "This is sweet." she whispered. You smiled and said, "I have my moments." You sway both your bodies to the music, smiling that she didn't reject nor question your actions. As the last notes played...
But most of all when snowflakes fall
I wish you love
I wish you love
You two part. You bow and gave her hand a kiss, bidding her goodbye. After, a small smile coming from her, you leave, not turning back at all. You're Chad Dylan Cooper and as usual, those small gestures are your way of translating thoughts. They mean more than what they could possibly be given credit for.
PS: I wrote this in under 20 minutes so please don't focus on grammar.
