A Jacob Black Fanfiction:

JACOBS POV-

So that's it. She had chosen that leach over me; I just had to accept it.

"I'll be back" I said to Billy, and walked out the door. All I needed was a long walk to think things out. I kicked my shoes off and started running. I phased so I could run faster. Before I knew it, I was pushing the Alaskan border. I heard Quil pleading for me to come back, but why? It's not like I had a reason anymore.

It must've been at least 3:00 A.M. when I was back in LaPush. I heard Quil sigh in relief. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

"Jake! Jacob! Wake up!"

I got up slowly. "ughh, what?" I complained to Billy

"We have guests!"

"yeah yeah yeah" I mumbled rolling over.

"c'mon Jake! There's a girl in there about your age"

I knew what he was trying to do, and I wasn't about to fight while there were guests downstairs. So I pulled a shirt over my head and followed him downstairs.

"Jamie. Kennedy. This is my son Jake" Billy said loudly.

"Jake, these are our new neighbors Mrs. Johnson and her daughter Kennedy " Billy said gesturing to them.

"Hey" I waved.

"Hello Jake" Mrs. Johnson smiled and waved at me. She nudged her daughter

"Hey" Kennedy mumbled.

"Why don't we have a seat?" Billy said walking over to our black leather love seat.

We started talking about everything. Mrs. Johnson moved to Forks to get away from her ex-husband and took Kennedy with her. ROUGH.

Billy and Jamie talked and talked until I couldn't stand it.

I got up and I noticed Kennedy's eyes follow me.

"I'm gonna get some air, nice meeting you" I said smiling at the Johnson's

I started walking to the front the door, when I heard Kennedy.

"I'll come with," She said.

I could tell Billy was smiling.

We walked until my dad and her mom were out of earshot. Then I stopped and turned to her.

"What was-" I started, but she cut me off.

"Don't get too excited, I just couldn't hear another word of that nonsense."

"Oh. Yeah. I know"

She sighed and started to walk away.

I grabbed her arm, because for some strange reason I didn't want her to go.

"What is it?" she whined.

I quickly let go of her arm and started walking. She caught up with me and gave me a strange look.

"Are you okay?" She asked

"Yeah. I'm fine" I managed to get out. I had no idea why, but for some reason at the very moment I wanted to hold her tight and kiss her.

"Maybe I should get you back home" She told me cautiously

"NO! I mean I haven't showed you my garage yet"

"uhh, okay?" she said following me. I could tell she was still a little confused.

"Welcome to my castle" I announced opening the garage door.

"OHH MY!" She said.

"It's nothing special, just a hobby of mine"

"It's AMAZING!" She cried, walking in. .

"Your into all this?"

"What? Is it hard to believe a GIRL likes cars too?"

"Ohh, no! Not at all"

"Relax, I'm joking Jake," She giggled. I smiled at her. That smile Bella loved.

"Are you okay? You're starting to look a little pale, like before"

"Yeah, I'm fine" Who was I kidding? "Let's go"

We walked out and noticed the sun setting.

"Wow, it's beautiful" Kennedy said awed.

"Yeah, she is" I said looking at her

"Oh, C'mon your gonna have to do better then that Jake" She said. I laughed for the first time in what seemed like years.

"You have a nice laugh, you should laugh more" She said.

"As long as you're here," I said.

"Nice try Jacob Black" she joked, and again I laughed.

I put my arm around her, and walked her back to my house.
