Chapter One

Loss

Emma

I stood on Captain Hook's deck, and watched as we got sucked into the green hole. The same green hole that took Mary Margaret and I away in the beginning of the year. The same green hole that took Neal away. At that thought, I wanted to cry.

I never wanted to cry, before, but I've lost so much now, I didn't know what to feel. Neal. Now Henry. The one thing that I promised Neal before he disappeared, and most likely died, was that I'd take care of our son. And I failed at that.

Once we got back out, we appeared at sea. Everything seemed the same.

"No way," David replied.

"Where are we?" I asked, confused.

"The Enchanted Forest." Regina answered, her voice solemn.

Neal

Neal woke up.

He didn't know how. But, he did.

Didn't Tamara shoot him?

He didn't remembered all of it was a blur.

Except one memory. Emma.

He remembered telling her that he loved her, and she did the same. He remembered letting go of her hand, so that she could live.

Now he was stuck in a place, he didn't know.

Or did he?

Neal saw that he was in a tent, what he didn't know was how he had gotten to the tent. He rose, and went outside, seeing a small group hunched over the bonfire. "Excuse me, would anyone mind telling me where I am?" Neal asked.

"The Enchanted Forest." the young, girl with beautiful red hair answered.

Crap. He was right in the place that he swore he would never come back to .

"I gotta get out of here." he said, quickly, wanting to return to Emma. Wanted to make things right.

"Hold it!" the man said, rising and blocking Neal from moving. "You can't go anywhere."

"Excuse me?" Neal asked.

"You can't leave." he replied, again.

"You're from that same place, too, aren't you?" asked the same girl, who had been staring at him, as if he fascinated her for some strange reason.

"Same place as who?" Neal asked.

"Snow and Emma." She answered.

His heart stopped, and his breathing caught. Emma had been here before?

"Emma?" he asked .

She nodded.

"Who are you?" Neal asked.

"I'm Phillip," the man said. "This is Aurora." The petite young woman, with red hair, smiled, politely and curtsied. "I'm Mulan." the other woman said, who was dressed in warrior attire, her raven black hair was braided into a ponytail.

"I'm Neal…or Baelfire, the son of Rumplestiltskin." He added in the last part, wondering why he had said that part.

"Like the Rumplestiltskin?" Aurora asked.

Neal nodded.

"I need to go back to Storybrooke." Neal then said, hoping that the conversation had shifted.

"Neal, you were injured, don't you think you need your rest?" Phillip asked. "I will rest, when I'm back in Storybrooke with Emma and Henry." he said.

"Henry?" Aurora asked.

"Yes, my son." Neal said.

"I know Henry." She said, softly. Neal's brow furrowed. How did she know Henry?

"How?" he asked.

"Dreams. I was in a sleeping curse, and I saw him there. He must've had the same thing, or else we wouldn't have met." she said. Neal closed his eyes. He needed to go back. "You guys can either help me or don't, but I'm going back to Storybrooke."
