I stand at the Time-Space door watching the young Princess of Crystal Earth sitting with her mother –Neo Queen Mikayla-; listening to the child's laughter and remembering how I had first met the Queen…..
I stand in front of the Time-Space door ever patient. I lift my head upon hearing a child's crying. I walk through the mist and fog to see a little girl no older than 3 sobbing from both pain and fear. "Mama? Mama, where are you?" asked the little girl. "Are you alright, little girl?" I ask. The child looked at me scared. "Who…are you?" asked the little girl. "My name is Sailor Pluto," I reply. "Are you hurt?" "Yes," whispered the little girl. "And I'm scared. I want m-my m-mama." "Who is your mother?" I ask. "My mother is Queen Serenity. I'm her daughter Mikayla." said Mikayla. "Well, young princess…I will guide you home." I said. Mikayla took my hand and I looked at her startled. "I trust you. I know you won't let me get lost." said Mikayla. I look at her –seeing truth in her eyes- and lead her home. Queen Serenity hugged her daughter. "Mama….Pluto guided me home." said Mikayla. "Thank you, Pluto." said Queen Serenity. "Wait! Before you go back… Pluto. I want to give you something!" cried Mikayla. A servant stepped forward and handed a wooden box –carved with hourglasses and stars- to the Princess. The child opened the box and lifted out a pendant. From the silver chain hung a hourglass carved from crystal then she walked over to me. I knelt so the child-princess could hook the pendant around my neck. "I'll always be your friend, Pluto…. can you always be mine?" asked the little princess. "I can always be your friend." I reply. The princess smiled and startled everyone in the room by hugging me. "Maybe… I can teach you about the stars?" I ask. "That would be something I'd like a lot!" replied the princess happily. I walk away with a smile knowing I had found in the princess a friend…
The Queen smiled and I knew she could see me watching them….She beckoned to me and I joined them…
