Indestructable

Summary: Claudia was barely thirteen the first time it happened.

A/N: This brings up the reveal of Sonny's a few years ago about Claudia being his mother. It bothers me that we found out what happened to her after she was dead(though I believe there were hints before that) and that Sonny laughed about it.

Claudia's small, slender fingers gripped onto the fabric of her baggy tee-shirt as her father's "friend" circled her. Her dark eyes were wide and frightened as she watched the man move around her, studying her as if she were a mere object. She quickly glanced down at her red tennis shoes as the man looked up to meet her eyes.

A hand reached out to grip her wrist and drag her toward him and she flinced and tried to wriggle away. She stared over her shoulder at the tightly shut door, wondering where her father had disappeared to and why he'd left her alone with this man.

The man leaned toward her and she about gagged at the smell of his breath and squeezed her eyes shut. She tried to turn her head away but it was no use with the bruising grip he had on her chin.

Her free hand tried desperately to push him away but it was futile so in the end, she closed her eyes and tried to imagine herself somewhere, anywhere else.

Dinner that night was a nightmare all on it's own. Her father kept making cruel remarks about her and the man who'd just taken advantage of her sat on the other side of the table. She also could feel her stepmother throwing worried glances at her constantly for how quiet she was being. Her stomach felt queasy and she was amazed she was able to hold anything down.

That night wouldn't be the last time she was taken advantage of. It continued on until one of the men her father sold her out to got her pregnant. From there, she was sent away and it was a relief. She felt free from her father's clutches, finally.

That was until her baby was born and her father came to take her little prince away. The one beautiful thing that had come out of something so hideous. She was forced to pretend she was his sister, which was probably better anyway. She couldn't bare the thought of her little boy knowing he was the product of such a monsterous act.

Johnny grew up healthy and perfect. Smart, compassionate, handsome, and talented. And oh, how she'd adored him. And how many times she'd thought of telling him the truth. A truth she'd only let Ric know after one of the times they'd slept together. A secret she'd begged him to keep.

And when she died, her last thought was of her little boy and the truth that he didn't know.

The End
