A/N: Okay, spoilers for the game, so if you haven't beaten the game, don't read, unless if you wanna be spoiled. I don't own Portal 2, or anything in it.
Oh, and Wheatley is human in this. Cause I want him to be.
Reviews are appreciated!

Wheatley let out a laugh.

"Y'know, I didn't think being in charge would be all that great, but wow! This is cool!" He exclaimed.

"And check this out; I'm a bloody genius! Está utilizando el software de traducción incorrecta. Por favor, consulte el manual. I don't even know what I just said, but I can find out!"

Chell smiled at her friend. She wouldn't of thought it possible for a computer to connect to a human, but that's what happened to Wheatley. And he was loving it.

"And, I can do anything now! I can move panels around, and I can control everything, and," he turned to face Chell, looking into her eyes, "and I'm gonna bake you a cake!" He finished with a grin.

He had heard about Glados's empty promises, and he wanted to make it up to her.
"Any kind you want. Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, anything!"

Chell had just stared at him the whole time, and he wondered if he had said something wrong.
A huge grin spread across her face, and Wheatley knew he had finally said something right.

Wheatley felt absolutely horrible. Taking over the facility, trying to kill Chell, hurting her and Glados, it all made him feel terribly guilty.

After he had been defeated, Glados decided to be nice for once and not kill them both. She let Chell and Wheatley stay at Aperture, Chell as a test subject, and Wheatley doing whatever he could do without messing up. He didn't mind being stuck down here, in fact, he didn't have anywhere else to go.

But the one thing that made him feel horrible was that Chell still hated him.

He knew that she wouldn't forgive him right on the spot, he was, after all, a major jerk to her. But it had been a few months already, and she still refused to be anywhere near him.
Wheatley walked down an older hallway, and stopped to look in an open door. It was a kitchen.
One memory filled his mind, and he entered and set to work.

Chell was terribly lonely. Glados insisted on not being friends, and only having an observer/tester relationship. And she was still a little scared of Wheatley.

She knew it was ridiculous, to be scared of silly, child-like Wheatley, but she was somewhat terrified of him. She also knew he was not insane anymore, but Chell had a hard time pushing the thoughts of him trying to kill her out of her mind.
She let out a sigh and flopped onto her bed. She had been through a long day of testing, and she needed rest. She was about to get under the covers when she heard a knock at the door. Looking up, she saw Wheatley standing in her doorway, with a small box in his hands.

"H-hello, love," he said hesitantly. He held out the box to her, and Chell cautiously stood and took it. She opened it up, and gasped at it's contents.

He had did this. For her. He had remembered his promise.

"I baked you a cake. Well, Glados did have to help me a bit after I accidentally-" He was cut of when Chell suddenly hugged him. He stood there awkwardly for a moment, before putting his arms around her.

"I'm sorry, about everything," he said quietly.

Chell nodded, and Wheatley knew that she forgave him.
