Rose looked at the Doctor. He was busy rummaging about with some papers he had collected from the previous planet. She said his name, almost a whisper, "Doctor." He looked up expectantly at her. She looked him in the eyes. "What was that planet we were just on? You looked so sad and... almost... defeated, hopeless I'd even say." He looked at her, obviously shocked by her words.

"Rose, that was..." He trailed off, not knowing how to put it to her. He figured the plainest way to say it would to just outright say it. "That was Gallifrey, my home planet."

Rose's face said it all as she was plainly shocked and a little guilty for bringing it up. "But I thought you said that Gallifrey was destroyed by the Daleks." She inquired.

"Rose remember that we are in a TARDIS, we can go back in time, forward, sideways, up and down and go anywhere. But... no. Gallifrey is frozen. Thanks to me and my future and past regenerations, we have frozen Gallifrey in time into a painting. Because Gallifrey Falls No More. What you have just seen is the far past. Before I was brought into this world. Rose, you saw Gallifrey when it had no worries, and all was well."

Rose looked like someone just threw a surprise birthday for her. "So... so Gallifrey isn't gone?" She squealed. "Then we have to go meet your family!"

But the Doctor shook his head. "No, we can't. If we go to see my family my younger being will have seen me. I would have to tell them who I was and if I saw... well... myself, it would mess up my TimeLine and I might not be here with you."

Rose looked down and shook her head. "Sorry, it's just... I wanted you to be happy for once."

The Doctor was in front of her in an instant, grabbing her head in his hands. "Rose Tyler. I have never been happier in my life than with you. I love you." And with that, he kissed her. Not hard, but passionate, just enough to show her how much he loves her. They pulled back for breath.

"Blimey, you're a good kisser." She whispered. She grabbed his big ears and kissed him again. "And I think I am starting to like these big ears."

They laughed and went back to the console, with the Doctor holding her hip to his the way. "I don't believe we got to see Barcelona. How about a go, then, shall we?" He said with his goofy grin. His ice blue eyes seemed less icy and more soft and loving.

"That would be wonderful." She said and pulled him in for another chaste kiss.

"I could kiss you a million times and never get tired of it." He mumbled.
