Another Percabeth Story.

Chapter 7: Continued.

Annabeth's POV

So here I am with Percy, Rachel and Chiron telling me that Percy and that TOMATO head will be going on a quest together. "So what was the prophecy?" I asked. There was a long pause until Percy broke the silence. He began to recite the prophecy.

"Two shall go for a quest, to find what was lost,
One should serve to the spirits as a host;
A bigger test awaits where you seek,
One shall not return, that will make a heart go meek;
To save who has not returned,
Two enemies must become one, to rescue him from a bad choice."

As a daughter of Athena, I was already trying to figure what it meant. They were waiting for me to respond about the meaning of the prophecy. "The first part meant Percy and Rachel will be going on a quest. That's all we could figure out for now unless; Annabeth knows what it had meant." Rachel said without hesitation. I didn't even realize that I knew exactly what it meant. I didn't know if I should tell Chiron about it in front of Percy and Rachel, it'll just worry them more. I didn't know how to react to this so I did what I could only think of. I ran to my cabin without looking back.

Percy's POV

We were just there waiting for Annabeth to respond. When Annabeth did something unexpected. She ran off just like that. I was about to go after her when Chiron reached for my arm before I could run after her. "Wait for awhile, she needs to let it all sink in." I just nodded and decided that he was right.
