I know poetry isn't a big thing on Fanfic, but I'm going to try it out. It's not the best, but enjoy!:)
Someone You Can Never Be With
Love; the cruel and ruthless beast
Breaks hearts, and starts wars.
Love; doth on my heart, it feasts
And destroys my guard.
The few subtle moments, when you see
The thing that breaks your soul,
Someone with whom you can never be
But still must pay the toll
You write his name on all your notes,
And stay up really late,
To look for all his Facebook quotes
And girlfriend, (whom you hate)
He smiles at you during class,
And tells you that you're pretty,
But then you see his eyes, made of glass
And you know it's out of pity
But once you've fallen for him,
It's not easy to quit or mend,
So painfully walk away and wish:
I hope it's you and me in the end.
