Maura and Jane were in the kitchen of Maura's house and Tommy and Angela had retreated to their rooms for the night.

"Poor Jo Friday" Maura cooed as they tried her on a new can of dog food seeing she was allergic to poultry, they asked Frankie to bring it by earlier after they had dinner and she seemed to enjoy it and they both just sat content watching her.

Earlier she and Jane had switched outfits and shoes.. and she told Jane she got hit on twice by women.

Maura was kinda hoping Jane would take a hint and quickly looked back over at the dog before Jane noticed she was staring but it wasn't unoticed by Jane.

Jane just continued to stroke Joe Friday and thought sometimes I don't know how she puts up with me as a friend and a lovley crazy family who she wouldn't change for anything

" Maura you ok ? " Jane asked casually

" er yeah I'm ok " Maura got a little flustered and Jane grinned thinking she was lieing ..maybe she's just a little worried about the break in she thought, but then jane's grin went when she looked over at Maura again

" are you still wearing my blouse? " she asked Maura, Jane just remembered.

Maura blushed " oh am i? "

Jane grinned again and could not resist teasing "why?"

Maura tried to change the subject but Jane wasn't having any of it

" it smells like you " maura said a little quietly staring anywhere but at Jane

Jane paused and didn't know what to say for a moment

" I'll go take it off "

" don't it looks better on you anyway " Jane smirked

" I .. was hoping you would look "

" I was.. alot " Jane told her .. she is beautiful Jane thought

Jane leaned in and kissed her slowly at first and Maura was delighted when she heard Jane softly moan against her mouth they deepened the kiss and got up from the couch still making out and hands touching everywhere.

Maura accidently knocked the lamp off the table causing a loud crash from the living room and all of a sudden Tommy came hurrying out his room gun in hand

" Hey ! ... oh it's just you guys didn't realise you were still up.."

Maura and Jane burst out laughing as they quickly seperated " give me my gun back by the way your gonna wake up ma and freak her out " Jane scolded him ..she never realised he had even taken it.

Angela then came hurrying out in her robe holding Frankies baseball bat which made them all laugh even harder...

" What's going on! I thought the robbers came back "

Jane went over and gently eased the bat from Angela " It's ok ma a lamp just knocked over and Tommy heard it we was feeding the dog then going to bed.

Jane hugged her mother and she re treated to her bedroom.

Tommy gave Joe Friday a quick pat on the head before going back to his room

" yeh well goodnight .. "

" night " they both call out

Jane takes Maura's hand as the head to Mauras bedroom.
