Here's a short little oneshot (that I may continue) that I wrote when I was sick and stuck at home a while ago, so I'm not sure how good it is. The fever I had may have totally addled my brain

In short, Rose rambles on deliriously and the Doctor gets flustered :) Isn't it fun to torture fictional characters... :)

A Delirious Rose

There was something wrong with Rose. It had started when they went to the planet Dlorp to see the fireworks, because they had the best fireworks with more colors than you could ever dream of. And the night sky was always a deep purple- no one knew exactly why that happened, but it was gorgeous. They had almost been arrested for holding hands (sometimes he forgets that it's illegal on other planets) but a lot of quick thinking and fast talking got them out of it. As they were running (because that was a vital part of not getting arrested) the Doctor pulled them into a niche to hide from the oncoming horde of Dlorpian police. He turned around to grin at her, but found her swaying on her feet and holding her head. "Rose? Are you ok?"
"M'fine," she answered. "Just a bit dizzy."
He laid a hand on her forehead, checking for a fever and pulled back shocked. "Rose! You're burning up!"
She swayed again. "Hmm. That's nice..." She trailed off as her eyes closed and she fell over in a faint. The Doctor caught her and picked her up into his arms. Once he checked to see if the coast was clear, he carried her back to the TARDIS and laid her in bed, tucking her in and settling down to wait for her fever to pass.

2 hours, 27 minutes and 6 seconds later, Rose murmured in her sleep. Her eyes slowly fluttered open and focused on the Doctor. "Hello." He smiled at her. "I'm going to check your temperature now." He touched his hand to her forehead. "You're still really hot."
"Are you the Doctor?" She asked out of the blue.
"Um. Yes?"
"Are you my Doctor?"
"Uh-"
"Cuz I love my Doctor."
He tried not to let that get to him. She was probably delirious, and there was no way she could possibly love him, a nine hundred year old Time Lord with the weight of the Time War on his shoulders.
"You've got a fever, Rose. You should sleep."
"I loved my Doctor since he danced with me after the gas mask children. He was so happy. 'Everybody lives, Rose!' He said. Everybody lives. Then he danced with me and that daft old face with the ears that he hated and I loved beamed at me and I think I fell in love with him right then. He saved them all. And then the Daleks came and he sent me away but I came back. He was going to die, my Doctor. And I couldn't let him, I couldn't..."
"I know Rose, shhh. It's ok now." The Doctor was listening to her delirious rambles with a worried yet slightly amused expression.
"Yeah. I know. And then he changed his face, which wasn't very nice. Cuz then I was worried. I was very worried. Because maybe that face didn't like me as much. But then he told me he still wanted me and that was nice. Even though he is rude and not ginger. He's my rude and not ginger Doctor and I love him." She suddenly got very worried. "Is that ok? Is it ok to love my Doctor?"
"Yes." The Doctor choked out. "Yes, it's ok."
"Good." She snuggled into her pillows.
"I'm going to get some tea, ok Rose? You try to go to sleep." He told her.
"Kay..." She answered, already drifting off.
The Doctor tried very hard not to run to the kitchen. He stiffly exited the room and closed the door, leaving it ajar so he could hear her if she called out.
Then he ran to the kitchen.
