Disclaimer; I don't own Harry Potter.

Severus stood from his Headmaster chair and walked over the podium to address the class.

"Greetings class of 1998 those who are alive that is and those who actually graduated, looking at you three." Severus glared at the trio and pointed to the door, "Drop outs go over there."

"Sir, I am actually returning next year," Hermione stated.

"Wow yet another year of you. But you didn't graduated this year, so get out!" Hermione along with Harry and Ron left the Great Hall.

"Before you are no longer my problem, and believe me I am as thrilled to hopefully never seeing any of you again as you are with me. Now as 80% of you will go out into what will be forty to sixty years of depressing, tedious, unfulfilling, backbreaking, low paying work followed by the sweat release of death. While the other 20% will if they're lucky will have a promising fulfilling job and mostly be your boss. Because unlike you 80% that wasted your time on childishly pranks, they were actually learning." Severus pointed to Goyle and Pansy, "That's right the people you picked on might be your boss, but dont feel to bad because they'll also died someday just like everyone else."

Students were confused to wether they should applaud or not.

"While you go about your sad, miserable and pointless existence, you will encourage a number of obstacles such as miserable failures after failure, trials, people, otherwise knows as assholes. You may be lucky to share all that with a very special person, otherwise knows as someone that can somewhat tolerant you. You people think its all going to be blue sky, rainbow, living on easy street, " Severus smirked, "the foolishly naive of the youth, you have no idea what is out there for you but I'll tell you its all down hill from here. So my advice to you, is to not be beat around the brush, and be perfectly straight with you. Life is going to kick in the gut for the rest of your life"

Students just stared at there Headmaster, some were actually afraid and terrified.

"Now in closing, so long, good luck because you'll need it," Severus looked over the class and pointed to the door, "and now, get the fuck out of my school."
