It was barely six am, but if Elsa was going to do this, she had to do it now. She had been planning this for weeks, but each time she attempted it, there was something to foil her plans; today was going to be different.

Pulling on her robe, she tested the floors. They were cold, but they weren't creaking. Getting carefully out of bed, she made her way to the door, and opened it with the utmost care. Still no sign of life in the castle. Good. She slid silently across the halls, each footstep making less noise than the last. She paused every so often, but the castle remained as silent as the morning of a fresh snowfall.

"Good," she thought to herself. "Finally I'll get to do this." Elsa crept slowly through the castle, opening one final door and closing it with the same quiet care. She pricked up her ears. Was that a noise? Waiting for several minutes, she came to the conclusion that it was just her imagination and continued into the room. When she clicked on the lights, she paused again, but she figured that if no one had heard her thus far, she was pretty much in the clear.

Elsa turned on the shower taps, and let the water heat up momentarily. She slipped quickly out of her robe and stepped into the shower. It was the moment of truth. With the warm water running through her hair, she was ready.

"It's time to see what I can do," she sang softly, "to test the limits and break through. No right, no wrong, no rules for me, I'm free!"

At this point, she was too engrossed in her singing to notice footsteps heading towards the bathroom.

"Let it go! Let it go! I am one with the wind and sky! Let it go! Let it g-"

Her final note was interrupted by a knock at the door accompanied by a very familiar giggle.

"Elsa!" Anna called out, "We can all hear you down the hall."

"Yes, thank you Anna." She sighed. After all that, she still didn't get to sing as much as she wanted to.

"So..." Anna paused to lean against the door, "are you gonna be much longer in there? I don't wanna walk all the way downstairs."

It was Elsa's turn to laugh. "Give me five minutes, and it's all yours."
