AN: just a short story about how Arthur proposed to Molly i was inspired by the song Song 2 you i had heard on Victorious
Arthur was pacing about nervously in front of the black lake waiting for Molly to meet him. She didn't know it yet but he was going to propose to her he just hopped she would say yes. It just after graduation and through he managed to convince himself that she would say no to him. And why would she say yes to him he was just a poor farm boy. Sure he was a pureblood but that didn't mean anything. He didn't go to those pureblood prep schools and he didn't wear the last designer robes. As listing reasons why Molly won't marry him the girl in question tapped him on the shoulder.
"Why did you want me you out here Arthur?" Molly asked him. "Because Mollywobbles there is something I want to tell you." Arthur told her. Molly braced herself in case he decided to dump her.
"I know I wear designer robes, I didn't go to those pureblood prep schools, but I'm not a fool. And I'm not a Quidditch star and I don't ride the newest broom, but I know I can you happy. I am not sure what you are use to; I've never been with a girl like you. I can give you a love that's true your heart, not material things." Arthur paused and got down on one knee "What I'm trying to say is will you marry me Molly Prewett?" Arthur asked showing her a simple engagement ring a gold band with a small diamond in the center. With tears shining in her eyes Molly told him "Yes" before kissing him soundly on the lips. It was then Molly she knew she would be a Weasley and while they wouldn't always the best of things she knew she would have a love that would last a life time and be envied by most other couples.

AN2: to explain something i talked about pureblood prep schools i believe that they would have had these before the first war and i think the reason why they didn't after is because they either dis-banned a) to keep the kids safe and b) they couldn't find teachers to keep it going.
