It was a beautiful sight; the cars of the citadel floating above them. They seemed to go on and on and on forever! It seemed a pointless way to pass time, but to Garrus and Shepard, it seemed the perfect end to a date.
Shepard's eyes traveled from the cars down to the Turian next to her. His eyes seemed to be brighter, and he seemed to be more alive. Shepard smiled at the sight of him: Relaxed and calm; nothing to worry about at the moment. This was their moment and no one was going to take it from them.
Feeling the urge to make him move grow strong, Shepard reached a hand up to his shoulder and nudged him gently, making him rock a little in his leaned back position. Garrus turned his head to look at her, a smile on his face. He chuckled and nudged her back, a little harder than he meant to. Shepard laughed and pushed him harder, forcing him onto his side. Garrus turned back to her and laughed; Shepard did too.
What he did next was completely unexpected. Garrus got on his knees and leapt at her, grabbing her shoulders and tumbling with her all the way to the parked sky car nearby. The two bumped into the car and their tumbling came to a stop. Garrus gazed down at the beauty below him and smiled. Shepard stared back at him; a smile on her face as well. At this time, the two were just lying there, staring into each other's eyes; lost in another world found in each other.
Garrus opened his mouth to speak, but Shepard placed a hand over his it. "There doesn't have to be any words spoken right now..." She whispered to him. Garrus' mandibles twitched in a small smile and he placed his hand upon hers. "Let's just stay like this, until it's time to play hero again. No sounds, no wars, no fights, no words needed..." With that, Shepard clutched his hand with hers and pulled it away from his mouth. She leaned upwards slowly until their lips collided into an inseparable mass.
This was their moment; No Words Needed.
