Ianto took Jack back to his flat so that he could shower and change. Jack was please that Ianto hadn't only kept some of his clothes, but his greatcoat hung on the coat rack in the hall.
"You kept it!"
Ianto smiled. "Of course I did. I love that coat."
Jack touched it. Ianto swatted his hand away.
"Shower first!"
Jack smiled, making his way to the bathroom. As Jack stepped into the shower, he was joined by a now naked Welshman. They made love amongst a lot of kissing and caressing.
"I have missed you," breathed Ianto, as he leaned against his lover.
"I'm sorry it took so long." Jack kissed the younger man. "But I'll make it worth the wait."
Ianto laughed. "I just bet you will. I won't be able to sit down for a week!"
They made their way to the bedroom and after a quick tumble in bed, got dressed.
"Let's go tell the others now," said Ianto, holding Jack's coat for him.
Jack put the coat on and, turning to face Ianto, declared, "I'm back!"
Ianto smiled back at his. "Yes, you are."
TWTWTW
Owen banged around in the autopsy bay, while Tosh click clacked on her beloved laptop. Gwen was in the kitchen.
"Don't worry, Gwen, Ianto will be back soon. He's just spending' a little longer with Jack."
Putting a spoonful of coffee in each cup, Gwen added boiling water from the kettle, placing the cups on a tray.
"I really don't know why I bother," Gwen complained. "You just don't appreciate it."
"We all know no one makes better coffee than Tea Boy." Owen replied, sympathetically.
The cog door went back and Ianto walked through.
"Still calling him Tea Boy, I see," said Jack, as he followed Ianto.
"Bloody Hell! Jack!" said Gwen. "How?"
Tosh was out of her chair and hugging Jack before Owen made it up from the bay.
"Sometimes, the earth gives something back," Jack said, hugging Tosh to him.
"The ground just opened up and there he was!" explained Ianto, eyes wide.
"You want me to check you over?" asked Owen.
Jack chuckled, remembering earlier. "I think Ianto already has."
Ianto blushed. "Jack!"
"Well, you did."
Despite himself, Owen laughed. "Better double check, just in case Tea Boy overdid it."
Ianto rolled his eyes, as he escorted Jack down to the bay.
Owen ran the scanner over him. Drew blood and took his vitals.
"You're fine…for someone who's been buried for a year
"Sex cures everything." Jack winked.
"Jack!" said Ianto, playfully punching Jack on the arm.
"Ouch!"
"Serves you right," said Tosh.
"Hey, just came back after being buried underground. Take it easy."
"Be nice Jack," said Ianto, kissing him on top of the head.
Jack laughed. "Always." He got of the autopsy table and looked around. "So, who's been running the show while I've been gone?"
"Actually, we all have," answered Gwen, moving to the railing above the bay.
Jack frowned. "Really."
"Yes," said Ianto. "Why, did you think we'd fight over who was going to be 'boss'?" he emphasised with his fingers.
Jack shook his head. "No. Maybe Gwen and Owen…"
"We had a meeting," began Owen, "a few days after your funeral."
"Ianto didn't want you put in the cryo unit in the vault," said Tosh, smiling at Ianto.
"So it seems." Jack looked at Ianto. "Were there many at my funeral?"
"Maybe a dozen," he replied.
"Jack!" exclaimed Tosh. "Your grave had made the news!"
"What?" Jack made his way up to Tosh's workstation, followed by Ianto and Owen.
"Grave robber. Body snatchers…."
Jack laughed. "Ooops!"
