My 4th in the "Changes" series (check the others in my account). Why do I love him so?

For many years the Algar had harboured deep unyielding hatred for the accursed Murgos, for what they had done to his parents. He lived, in essence, to satisfy his thirst for revenge, yet somehow he was never quenched.

Then one day, Adara had taken an arrow meant for him. It shook him so much that he lashed out at the injured girl, and she had finally confessed.

The three simple words changed everything he had lived for. The rage was still there, to be sure, but he was no longer driven by it – and he intended to keep it thus.
