Secret Note

Rychan: Hiya folks, I know I should work on the other stories but I kind of have a small attention span. (Rubs back of head sheepishly.) But I'm in the process of updating Little Brother, so I hope it will make up for it.

It was lovely day in Littleroot, the sun was shining, the Taillow were tweeting and everything was peacef—"Get that thin' away from me!" Okay maybe not so peaceful.

Blue being the mischievous, pesky woman that she was, decided to have a monthly Dexholders meeting to make sure that everything was going alright. (And get first dibs on any new gossip.)

This month's location, Hoenn, where the Dexholders (sans Kalos due to dealing with a legendary problem) currently laughing at the spectacle in front of them.

Ruby, the lovely charmer and only daughter of Gym Leader Norman, was currently trying to get her best friend and headache, Sapphire, into light pink dress that she designed.

Sapphire, the hot-headed conqueror and only daughter of Professor Birch, was jumping around and hanging on the ceiling to avoid the pink monstrosity in her best friend's hand.

"For Arceus sake Sapphire, just put it on, it won't kill you." Ruby grunted, mentally reminding herself to clean the ceiling later.

"Never!" Sapphire declared, "I'd rather go nak'd."

"Don't even think about it!" Ruby screeched.

Blue was laughing uncontrollably, "This is better than T.V."

"They'd make better comedians than us Dai." Pearl commented, as his friend munched on Ruby's special Pecha berry cupcakes.

Gold was clutching his stomach as he laughed, Crystal struggled to keep her chuckles in check.

Ruby finally had Sapphire cornered when she saw a figure from the corner of her eye and stopped.

"Ruby-sempai," Platina delicately put down her teacup, "is something wrong?"

Ruby said nothing as she put down the dress and walked to the open window. She found a note stuck to it, she carefully opened and read it. Her eyes widened and clenched the note, her fist shaking.

"Sempai?" White watched the girl she admired shake.

Ruby shook her head and gave them a smile, "It's nothing," she tucked the note into her pocket, "Just a note from a jealous Co-ordinator, nothing major."

She quickly walked to the kitchen with a little less grace than she usually has. "I'm going to make some more snacks.

The group looked at each other, curious on what that note said to make the usually confidant girl nervous.

Ruby leaned on the kitchen sink as she shook, re-reading the note.

If you don't want your friends to know your little secret, than come to Rustburo City tomorrow and meet me outside the gym at 8 p.m. And come alone.

Ruby took a deep breath to calm herself, "It'll be okay." She whispered, "Everything is going to be fine."

She didn't a pair of ears at the door, listening to her whispers.
