"Urgh! You never listen!" The brunette manager screamed harshly as she stomped her foot in temper. "What do I have to do to make you acknowledge me again!? Physically jump in your path!?"

Stumped, Tyson stopped in his tracks and he closed his eyelids to hide the emotion that was building up inside his chestnut brown eyes. The champion couldn't bare the thought of showing his true emotions to the girl who had broken his heart – he still loved her, but he was too frightened to let their paths collide, so he deliberately distanced himself from her and pushed her away from the centre point of his life.

"Tyson Granger."

"Okay! I get it! I heard you!" The Dragoon wielder clenched his fists and released a low growl from his dry throat. He was slowly losing his self control. "But why is it taking you so long to get the hint Hilary!? I just need some space to sort my head out!"

"Sort your head out?!" Hilary was almost seeing red at this point, "You are so selfish!"

"Oh, am I now?" Tyson's growl grew louder. She was really digging her nails in his back and the woman was really starting to get on his nerves. So that short hot-headed temper soon rose to the surface to reveal all the passion that had been stored deep inside his big heart, "I'm not the selfish one who ended everything..."

"I did it because you weren't listening to me!" Tears were beginning to fog up Hilary's view and her throat was beginning to narrow dramatically. She was devastated, but the girl was trying to do everything in her power from revealing this. "I didn't really want to end everything. But sometimes I say things like this so you will take me seriously!"

"WHAT!?" Tyson spun on his heel to face his ex-girlfriend, "Please tell me that you're still winding me up right now because if I didn't take you seriously, I wouldn't be upset about all this!"

His raging bull styled temper soon fizzled out when Tyson watched the emotional tears run down Hilary's swollen face. She was choking on air and her body was trembling – he'd never seen the girl look so fragile and this sight ripped his delicate heart up like a sheet of paper.

"Hilary..." His body shattered, "Don't cry."

The tension in the atmosphere was now at it's breaking point and the two teenagers were struggling to find a way to storm through this awkward scenario. But just when Hilary had given up on everything, the bright spark did something that restored her hope and faith in his old loving ways.

The beyblade champion naturally approached the girl to wrap his masculine arms around her vulnerability. He held her tightly against his chest and he gently placed a kiss onto her hairline.

"I might not listen Hilary. But that doesn't mean I don't love you." He whispered in a smoothing tone, "I just have a million things going on inside my head, so I don't always hear what everyone is saying half of the time."

A light snotty laugh then vibrated through his chest; Hilary already was calming down and brightening up. "You are so annoying, yet so… urgh." She stated in a whole hearted gesture and the confused young woman didn't know exactly what she was going to do. She wanted to back hand him into 2050, yet her lips were craving a teasing kiss.

Decisions, decisions.

"Lovable? Oh come on, you won't find anyone who will love you more than I do. You could do no wrong in my eyes..." He paused when she raised her head to flash him a playful frown, "Well, most of the time anyways."

He was quick to correct himself to save the moment. But luckily, his heroic effort had paid off as when a nervous giggle left Tyson's dry lips, Hilary then wrapped her toned arms around his figure to secure his warmth against her.

"We need to talk more before we get to this point again Tyson." The BBA manager expressed openly, "And you need to listen more."

"I ain't promising anything unless you promise to stop nagging me."

The champion lowered his glistening eyes to find himself getting lost in the thought of himself admiring her raw feminine features. She looked so delicate, yet so she was unbreakable; it was a combination that reminded Tyson about lucky he was to have such an intelligent beauty in his life.

"Then I can't promise anything either then can I?" Hilary chuckled. "Well, I better let you carry on with your training before Kai catches you. We both don't want to annoy him anymore than what we've done..."

"Ah, the sourpuss can wait. Besides, it would be different if the shoe was on the other foot..."

"Tyson." Hilary gasped, "Shush, he might hear you."

"He would probably be on the next flight to the Greece to see Lyla. He would be begging for forgiveness with a few crocadile tears flooding down his triangled face. So if he gives us a hard time, I will give him one too." Tyson winked fearlessly, "So, do you wanna go and grab some lunch then?"

"Lunch?" A blond American peeked out from behind a tree with an innocent grin filling his lightly freakled face, "I'd so dig a Mc Donalds right now Tyson. I'm coming with you guys."

"MAX!" The champion shrieked, "You scared the crap out of me!"

Tyson's face went pale and Hilary stepped back to face her teammate whom was standing behind her. Max had made her jump slightly, but once the thought of his presence had registered, Hilary soon smiled warmly to welcome him along.

"Dude, I heard Hilary scream at you, so I came to see if everything was okay."

"Yeaaa." A sweat drop appeared in the corner of Tyson's forehead and he reached his right hand over his shoulder to scratch the back of his neck, he was now suddenly anxious, but he was calm on the outside. "Everything is under control now..."

"We are back to normal." Hilary corrected with a blush staining her swollen cheeks, "And who said anything about a Mc Donalds? Kenny will kill us if we sneak off to eat some rubbish foods..."

"I'm so fancying a double cheese burger." Tyson called it, "Times that by 4."

"Oh yea! I want 20 nuggets." Max clenched his fists with excitement. "Let's go. The teams bus is the other side of the forest in the carpark still. We can get there using that."

"Great idea Max. Lead the way."

"Urgh! Tyson! What did I just say to you!" Hilary stomped her foot, "You're not listening to me again!"

Pausing in their tracks, the Dragoon wielder pouted his lips and Max's heart skipped a beat.

'Shit, was this going to trigger another argument?' - Max asked himself, wondering if his presence was actually welcomed.

"I did listen to you. You didn't say that you weren't willing to come along." The cocky Japanese male answered, "It will be my treat Hilary. Come on."

"Yea, Kenny won't mind us sneaking off just for a short hour..."

"An hour!?" Hilary then gave up and sighed, "There's just no convincing you boys to stay out of trouble is there? You're both thick as thieves when you work together. But fine, I will come along. I am fancying a Cadbury Mc Flurry anyways."

Max burst out laughing and Tyson reached out to hold his girlfriends hand, "That's my girl. I love you Hilary." He stated proudly as he squeezed her hand lightly.

A/N: I was at work sorting out my paperwork and my colleague said something [I wasn't listening, obviously], so that's how this plot sprung to mind. It usually is the reason as to why a lot of my relationships [friendships and lovers] break down, but they just simply don't understand how my head works Xd, so this oneshot made me cry a lil. Typical Tyson moments. Anyways! I hope you all enjoyed the fic and have an awesome day guys – Granger~
