Note: My first story on FF! It's extremely short, forgive me. I just wrote it on a sheet of paper while in a good mood.
Oranges
It was a perfect day. Three friends sat together during the sunny day, sharing sweet and sticky moments, laughing. Eating oranges.
The girl had shoulder-length, wine-red hair that shined in the spots of sun which penetrated the shade. Her eyes, a light blue-violet, laughed along with her musical voice.
The first younger boy wore a crown of messy brown hair modeled in spikes that pointed in every possible direction. Eyes that mirrored the clear blue sky glowed with euphoria, sticky lips pulled into a huge grin.
The second boy (although he was sitting down with the other two, he was obviously much taller than the both of them) sported long, silver hair, longer even than the girl's. His hair framed sea-green eyes that held patience and affection for his friends.
Their voices together made a song so lovely, a song of summer and beaches and memories sweeter than the oranges, a song that tempted all living things to come closer and listen. Those laughs would always be remembered, a warm memory that would be thought of on sad days. No one was depressed when they heard those voices together.
The sweetest people you'll never really meet, eating the sweetest oranges.
They ate them one at a time, their hands mingling amongst the others as they tore of segments of the tangy citrus. Fingers were constantly licked, be it their own or one of the others. No one cared, because they were friends. Three faces were covered with the fruity juice, but they didn't care about that either.
Three friends sat together on a perfect sunny day, sharing oranges and laughs and happy memories. There was no worry or foreboding storms or battles to be fought. They only things that existed that day were three friends, reminiscent and nostalgic, talking about memories that were made, are being made, and will be made, amongst laughs and voices and songs. There was the sky, bright and blue and warm. And there were oranges.
Sweet, sticky oranges.
