Crazy Counselor

Alex was sitting at his desk playing games on his phone, paying brief attention to his chemistry teacher drone on about particle interactions when the school's guidance counselor walked into the classroom. She gave Alex a stern look nodding towards the phone in his hands. He gave her a guilty smile and put the phone back into his pocket. She then motioned him out into the hallway. This had become a regular occurrence over the past week.

"Mrs. Cherry I really don't need any more of your counseling. This past week you have already talked to me about everything from healthy food choices to abstinence." Alex sighed. It was like this women was determined to make him into a poster child.

"Alex this is vital information that will help you blossom into a wonderful young man." The counselor said, giving him a creepy smile.

"Okay then." Alex said trying hard not to use a mock happy voice.

"Well Alex today we are talking about your future. Don't you want a decent paying job when you grown up?"

"I already have one." Alex said in a bored voice.

The counselor gave a weird little laugh. "Oh teenagers. They think getting paid ten dollars an hour is like winning the lottery. Sweetie if you want to support a family at all you have to make at least 40,000 dollars a year. Your little job at Steak & Shake or wherever you work isn't going to cut it. Then when your older and your cute little teenage face goes away people aren't going to tip as well either."

"Mrs. Cherry I will be fine. Trust me I'm already making more than 40,000 a year." Alex said trying to get a reaction out of her. It wasn't like she was going to believe him anyway.

Mrs. Cherry didn't say anything for a minute. It was like she was trying to weigh her options or something. The thing she did next shocked Alex. She went right up and whispered in his ear. "I want in give me you bosses number the drugs whatever. It can be our little secret."

Alex gave a nervous laugh, this lady was crazy.

She then proceeded to grab his hand and write her number on it.

Alex couldn't say anything he was in shock.

She then walked away giving him a wink.

Alex only had one thought. Counselors were crazy.
