Link ran at a lightning fast pace towards the outside of the temple. His eyes blazed with untold anger. He took her away. His Zelda had been stolen from his grasp. Link found himself slamming his fists violently against the orange barrier Ghirahim had put up.

Link clenched his teeth together to stop the flow of foul words that threaten to leave his throat. Ghirahim laughed loudly as he lifted Zelda into the air. Link cringed at Zelda's weak whimpers. The Imprisoned seal broke all at once. Zelda screamed out in pain as her soul was being ripped from her.

"No!" Link yelled as he began to run around the barrier looking for its opening. Ghirahim growled and summoned monsters. "I don't care if the whole lot of you get lodged on the end of his blade. You will buy me the time I need! Do not fear him… Fear my wrath if you fail me!" he hissed to them.

Link unsheathed Evil's Bane furiously. In one swift movement he slashed out his blade taking several Bokoblins with it. He quickly blocked and sprinted around the barrier. "I DO NOT have time for this!" he growled rolling around a Moblin. Wow. Running from the monsters. "Some hero," he thought. Although he obviously didn't care if he was the chosen hero or not at the moment. The only thing he cared about was Zelda.

His chest heaved with each movement he took. Many gashes on his battered body bled profusely. "This is ridiculous," he growled. Link regretted using up all his potions. All of a sudden a wicked grin crossed his face. He slowly pulled out a bottle with a glowing orb in it. He uncorked the bottle and the glowing orb flew around him. His energy flooded him once again.

By the time he came to the end of the barrier his emerald tunic was plastered with blood. Some not of his own. He froze at the figure in front of him. Demise. He bared his teeth at the vile creature. "So you are the chosen knight of the goddess."

He looked rather unapproving of Link. Link moved forward, sword rose. Demise thrust his sword skyward. Black, demonic smoke surrounded him. "If you fear for your life, do not follow me. You can spend what little time your world has left cowering and crying, as benefits your kind."

"But if you truly desire to raise your blade against the world I would build, come for me. I've waited eons to return. I can spare a few more moments to let you decide." He laughed loudly as he disappeared through the black smoke. Link raised his sword skyward and ran for the portal that could lead him to his death. "For Zelda. For our world."
