"Morning, Echizen

"Morning, Echizen!"

"Good morning Ryoma-kun."

"Ryoma-sama I love you!"

"Good day Echizen-san."

"Good afternoon!"

"Hello Echizen-kun."

"Ryoma-sama! Look over here!"

"Hi Echizen!"

"Ryoma-kun."

"Ryoma-sama!"

Ryoma, Ryoma, Ryoma! What was wrong with everyone! Echizen, Echizen, Echizen! Why wouldn't anyone leave him alone! Teachers, students, and even a few random people on the street were talking to him more often than usual. Poor Ryoma just wanted some peace and quiet… and maybe a vending machine so he could get a Ponta.

"Hmmm... You look tired, Echizen. Is something wrong?"

You could always count on Fuji to show up at the worst possible moment wearing his, "I know something that you don't and I'm going to use it against you" smile.

"U-ummm…. Ryoma-kun… Have a good tennis practice!"

Ryuzaki Sakuno, how was it possible that she always popped up at the worst possible time? Why did she have to come at the same time as Fuji? It was her gift… that was more of a curse. She looked at Fuji like a puppy searching for praise.

"Isn't that sweet Echizen? Ryuzaki-chan came to cheer you on. What a good girl."

Ryuzaki's face lit up like a Christmas tree and her nerves froze so that her friend Tomoka had to drag her away, but not before she had a chance to greet "Ryoma-sama".

"Why does everyone keep talking to me? It's annoying."

"We're all trying to help you."

Ryoma quirked an eyebrow, "How is annoying me helpful?"

"Didn't you know Ochibi? If you talk to plants they grow faster, so I thought it might work with you too. Everyone thought it was a good idea so we're all helping out."

"Che."

"Now Echizen, don't make everyone's efforts go to waste. Being taller will help you when you play tennis."

"Mada mada dane, Fuji-senpai. I can still beat you without being tall."

"If you put that way then I guess the best reason for to grow is to make it easier for me to kiss you." Curse Fuji and his all-knowing smirk.

Ryoma was glad he had a hat fetish; it would ruin his reputation if someone noticed that the Prince of Tennis was blushing. Stupid Fuji and his stupid mesmerizing lips!

Ryoma decided that Fuji was too seductive for his own good, but it made him reconsider about the whole hating it when people talked to him thing. He couldn't help but wonder if Fuji's kisses would be even better when he became taller.

Disclaimer: Prince of Tennis wouldn't be nearly as good if I owned it.

(Author's Note: I got this idea from Rajipuri! Brilliant stuff if you haven't heard of it yet. I'm excited! I feel like a normal author for posting more than once a month! Anyway, this fic is dedicated to Sweet Obsidian Rain because I still owe her some Thrill, but I've been too lazy to write the beautiful prompt she gave me. Sorry it's a bit choppy, I'm still working on that, but if you find anything else wrong please let me know so I can try to fix it on future projects.)
