Chapter 1
I knew.
I was sitting at my desk at Karakura Highschool, starting what I thought would have been another normal, boring day at school. I was wrong.
Everyone looked up as the rumoured new girl entered the room, me included, and as my eyes met her figure, I knew, I knew that my life would change from this day on. Don't ask me how I knew it, I could just tell, call it instinct, this small, perfectly curved girl with violet eyes and raven hair, Rukia Kuchiki. She was placed next to me by Ms. Ochi, our English teacher, I was stunned by my luck. "Hello, I'm Rukia Kuchiki!" She said to me with cheerful vigour,
"Ichigo Kurosaki," I grunted back, a slight blush tinting my cheeks, I mentally scolded myself for that show of foolishness. A million thoughts were running through my mind at that point, the main, and distinctly male one was just how stunning she was. Now, I knew that I was far from being someone deemed as "Ugly" by the female species, but I never saw myself as a Handsome guy, this always made me feel self-conscious in the first impressions situation and almost always made me mess it up and ruin any chance of chemistry. I glanced to my right, just as I did, she looked up from her page, my eyes fell into the deep, violet pit of hers, I held her gaze for just a few seconds, but they were magical,
"What?" She said in an almost playful tone.
"Nothing, just, nothing." I replied.
"Whatever," She smiled back.
I knew.
The rest of the day rolled by without anything interesting happening, I let my mind wander onto Kuchiki Rukia too often, much too often. I was relieved as the final bell went, it meant I could get lost in my thoughts in the privacy of my own room, with no danger of missing out on anything important. I wandered back the usual way, when a streak of black and white moved past me and stopped in front of my face. It was her,
" Oh, you live in the same neighbourhood as me?" She questioned softly.
"Yeah, just down the street, my family owns the local clinic."
"I see." She replied, with a teasingly puzzled look on her face, "So, I'll see you when I get sick then." She smiled, and with that, she walked off down the street opposite the clinic, she acted like everything she said was just careless chit-chat, but I knew.
So there we go, first chapter, I decided to give up on my last story, I didn't like it anyway, wasn't any build up or anything, but be sure to review this one and say if you'd like me to continue it
