Happy Ending
Colette placed the book on the edge of the bathtub and picked up the wine glass. She took a sip of the sweet French wine. She returned to her paperback and lost herself in the tale. The couple were about to overcome all their difficulties and get together. To kiss in the rain. It was always romance she read in the bathtub. It was not that she did not enjoy other genres but tragedy was too sad and crime to procedural for her happy place.
She liked to read something with a happy ending, while she still hoped for hers.
