Disclaimer: I don't own the Labyrinth or Shadow Man.
There it was - again. The flash of white canines, bared in a lonely smirk, disappearing the second she turned her head.
He haunted her. Teased her. Never was she able to run far or fast enough to catch him. Just chasing her own shadow.
Mostly, she saw eyes. Ice and earth eyes. They only stared - so sad - through her.
He once was her foe. Was he now though? She gazed absentmindedly at the sidewalk, eyes drawn to the road ahead, finding the platinum locks of the phantom.
An old woman, passing by, whispered. "It's the Shadow Man."

Take a turn and see his smile,
Made of nothing but loneliness,
Just take a walk and be a friend,
To the Shadow Man
...
You can call him foe,
You can call him friend.
You should call and see who answers,
For he knows your eyes are drawn
to the road ahead.
