Rose Weasley and Draco Malfoy, the newlyweds, were spending their first night as a married couple.

Rose seemed to be having an internal battle with herself as Draco stroked her face.

"Alright love" he whispered to her stroking her face.

"Yes I was just thinking about making love. I mean I don't think it'll be the same now that were married" she replied looking at him. He straightened up leaning on his elbow.

"And why not" he asked.

"Well the thrill is gone isn't it? We don't have to hide anymore" she replied.

"Is that why you married me, because of the thrill?" he asked her bewildered.

"Draco" she started.

"Because I know that I married you for love because I thought you were the most wonderful, amazing girl in the world. But you… you married me for the thrill. I'm pathetic. I am so pathetic. To think that you, a beautiful young girl like you could actually fall for an older guy like me" he said. He sighed and got out of the bed with tears in his eyes leaving his wife there speechless. Rose lay back down on the bed thinking about what had just happened. It was all her fault. All her fault. She made him think that she had not really loved him which was far from the truth. She was in love with him but she did like the thrill part of the relationship but not as much as she loved him. Feeling as guilty as ever, she pushed the covers off and went to look for her husband. She walked around in the mansion looking for him when she heard weeping. She looked in the guest room and saw Draco curled up in a ball in the corner crying. She had never seen him so vulnerable. The high and mighty Draco Malfoy was crying his eyes out.

"Draco sweetheart" she said walking in the room. He just scooted backwards into the wall. She sighed and sat next to him. She put her hand on his shoulder.

"Draco, look at me" she whispered softly. He reculantly turned his head to face her. His face was stained with tears his eyes; blood-shot. She wiped away newly found tears and pushed the hair out of his face. She pressed her palm on his cheek stroking his face with her thumb.

"Don't do this to me Rose" he chocked out sniffing at the end.

"Do what Draco" she asked softly.

"This. Touch me affectionately, giving me false hope. Making me think that you actually love me" he said to her. She smiled sadly at him.

"Draco, I do love you with all my heart. I do, honestly" she said scooting closer to him.

"But what about the thrill, isn't that what you want; thrill. How do I know you won't have an affair behind my back for bloody thrill." he asked her.

"Because I love you and yes maybe did enjoy the thrill but that doesn't mean that I did not enjoy being with you. The thrill was just a plus to everything. A plus that is not needed. Draco I will love you no matter what. That's why I married you Draco. You bring out the best in me. You make me feel whole; you make me feel happy and sane. You may be 26 year older than me but I love you all the same" she said to him leaning in slowly and carefully. Their lips met and Draco knew that she was indeed telling the truth. He eagerly kissed back knowing that this is what he would want for the rest of his life.
