Hi! Second Fic; I'm determined to complete it no matter what. So...keep reading, okay? And R&R!
The prophecy is uncovered. It will be fulfilled. The legacies of Apeiron and Helba will be lived out. The light that shrouds Talador will be struck down. History will be repeated. And it's up to two teenagers to change it.
Prologue
The girl dashed across the square, firmly clutching a small bottle of sand in her hands. She whizzed past, the sun scorching the ground upon which she ran, and ducked into a small alleyway outside a shop selling musical equipment. Beside a colourful display of guitar strings, she set the precious bottle down next to some other objects. A peculiarly shaped leaf and a shiny piece of glass watched over her mockingly, amidst other oddments. She placed a malnourished hand on the leaf, and did not react as the sky began darkening bit by bit, but at a steady rate.

001 woke from his slumber. He felt something probing into his brain. It was reaching into the inner depths, and tapping on secret reserves of energy he didn't know he had. He told the team about this, and they tried to link their minds with his, to fathom what the sensation was. They closed their eyes and concentrated, just as it started raining outside.
.:O:.
The girl stood upright, not daring to move too much in case somebody noticed what she was doing. She uncorked the bottle of sand, and drew a circle around her with it. She picked up several objects, and placed them at intervals throughout the circle. Then she drew another sand circle outside for double protection, to ensure that she would not be disturbed during the ritual.
Now, holding the glass and leaf in one hand, she pricked her left wrist, and hurled the glass as far as a little child of 6 could. She raised the leaf, and let the blood drip onto it. It trickled all the way down the leaf, and onto the sand below. She did this for both circles. Then, when she was sure that both circles were drenched in the crimson liquid, she assumed a meditative position, and spoke a single word:
"Talador."
.:O:.
In their own little bungalow near the beach, the cyborgs felt themselves lock into 001's mind, and an unfamiliar rush into oblivion.
To some, the void was pleasant and soothing to their eyes as compared to the real world. Some were scared by the absolute nothingness that stretched out so vastly ahead of them. Some simply drifted, with no particular emotions of feelings at all. However, it was with a bump that all of them arrived with, at a strange place, with strange people, and stranger ways...
