Chapter one: A wrong turn Home.

"Aiyaaaa! This wind! It stings!" The cloaked figure trudged on Despite the bitter cold. He could hear houses creaking in the distance. Thunder boomed in the distance, Making him jump. He stared blankly at the area for a second, then turned and continued walking. "I better hurry..." A mumble escaped his lips as he pulled the dark cloak over his black hair. "I don't want to be stuck in a storm like this..."

His pace quickened into a jog. Glancing nervously over his shoulder each time a crash was heard. His speed was answered with gallons of rain, devasating nearby plant life. With fear in his heart, our cloaked figure knew that he was not safe. thoughts rang through his mind. 'I have to hurry,' He thought. 'Safety is the main key here.'

WACK! Our figure tumbled back and fell with a 'splash!' into the mud. He sat himself up and rubbed his forhead. "U
gh... What WAS that?..." His eyes looked up and blinked. It was a fork in the road. One was to the forest, the other led to a small village-like household. Heaving himself up, the figure looked at his choices and chose the obvious one. "Right." He said to himself, and took the turn to the village.

Unknown to him, this path would change the fate of his and several other's lives.
